I would have liked to see her too, but that only would have made anime-only viewers take notice of her before they really needed to. At least we got a few shots of poor Mina.

Ymir was called by name in Trost arc.
I wonder when we'll get a live-action version of this series.
If we do, then I want Levi to be played by Tom Cruise.
I keep forgetting the anime actually has barely featured Ymir at all.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Hum, no she wasn't. If it had been said within her 2 minutes of screentime in the anime I would have remembered it I think…

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Since I'm usually too happy with the series, I think it's time for some nitpicking. That third OAV gave me such a headache. That rescue plot was too contrived and the lead up to it made everyone except for Eren look as though they hadn't endured years of military training.
Like I get that they're trying to expand on the missing scene from the manga (that hadn't been included in the anime) about how it was noted that Marco holds back and lets others score points since he believes more in team work instead of individual accomplishments, and of course how he redirected the "you'd make a good leader" comments to Jean instead.
IMHO, the manga with just a few pages-panels did so much more than that overdressed OAV. They could have just done with more dummy titan training competitions (with lots of amateur 3DMG sequences) involving everyone instead of that ridiculous how the fuck did trainees without any 3DMG catch up to robbers with carts and horses.
It was as though the anime staff was so desperate for "DRAMA" that 1) Must have damsel in distress. 2) Must remove 3DMG. 3) Get rid of the top 4 strongest trainees for most of the OAV so that more "DRAMA".
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.Well, Ymir doesn't really do anything until she [SPOILER] during [REDACTED], and that's all going to be in season 2.
One of the 104 call out Ymir when she licked Krista's face.
That didn't happen in the anime though (for good reason - it was kind of creepy).

Saw it. Fun, if kinda generic. Pretty shonen.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.SnK is generic?
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book! No, just the third OVA.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Reviewed chapter 1 of No Regrets manga. The anime people certainly added a ton more Foe Yay. Erwin did not try to slash Levi in half in the manga. He wanted to recruit Levi, not kill him.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.@Knightof NASA: I don't see any name here
Erwin is a firm believer in Defeat Means Friendship. Unfortunately, since Erwin also doesn't believe in doing anything half-assed, he can be a little...overzealous in his recruitment drive. He accidentally killed six potential recruits before he got to Levi.[/WMG]
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.Erwin wanted to improve the Scout's skills with 3DM Gear, and to do so he needed to experience combat from the Titan's perspective. Thus, Levi.
PSN ID: FateSeraph | Switch friendcode: SW-0145-8835-0610 Congratulations! She/TheyI got Part 2 and the box in today. (Potential spoilers for the second half of the anime) This thing is really hefty. Probably one of the heaviest boxes in my collection.

Well...damn. That looks fantastic.
Niiiiice.
… Is it written "from the director of Death Note"? —'.`— I didn't know that.

Flippé de participer à ce grand souper, je veux juste m'occuper de taper mon propre tempo.Yeah most of Funimation's trailers for the show credit that as "From the director of Death Note and High School Of The Dead"
Personally I think Guilty Crown would've been a far more fitting replacement, cause I still can't wrap my mind around how AoT and HSotD are by the same person. (Though I haven't seen Guilty Crown or High School of the Dead for that matter)

I'm on Youtube Reviewing Things Cause I can.How the hell does Death Note and High School Of The Dead have the same director? Those shows are as different as night and day.
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.Besides, the one who sets the tone of the show is the author of the manga, unless the director decides to do a more extreme adaptation than usual. I'm not trying to undersell the importance of the anime director, I'm just saying that he's not going to turn a no-fanservice show like this into High School Of The Dead, and vice versa.
Tis pretty good, although it doesn't really bring anything new. Well, it gives us an example of how the 3DMG can be used effectively in a non-titan situation. Too bad Freckles (… can we call her by name in this thread or…?) isn't in it, even though Krista is.
