Maybe Spring 2015 so next April. If April 2015, I think it's just one season of about 12 episodes based on the third arc, cause the fourth arc won't be done until January 2015, manga form.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.I'm hoping we'll manage to get around round of 26 episodes, covering the previous arc and the current one. But man, gonna be another roller coaster of feels.
Considering the first 26 episodes covered more-or-less 8 volumes, and that we'll be somewhere between volume 16 and 17 in 6 months, there will be barely enough material… provided that the current arc isn't several more volumes long.

All the Shingeki arcs so far spans about 4 volumes per. Though there is plenty of spin-off material to base anime upon.
I think what I heard is that the Levi spin-off is going to be about 2 OAV. So, maybe about a 1 hour movie base on a two volume manga. Glad to know that they aren't expanding it too much.
Honestly, considering how many special edition w/ 1 anime episode copies that get sold whenever a new manga volume is released, I bet Kodansha and Wit are just not in a hurry to make another tv series.
I remember there was an anon who computed that the OA Vs pulled in more revenue than the tv series in terms of copy sales.
Plus, they're probably going to wait after both compilation movies are out in the theaters before releasing season 2.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.Yeah, I don't think season 2 will come out too quickly, since they're planning to rake in cash from the movies and the Levi OVAs. "Pre-production" really could mean anything.
Am still hoping for movies, because I have a tough time seeing how they're going to expand action-packed Arc 3 into 12-13 episodes.
Just from memory, I think about half of the chapters are action chapters.
Plants are aliens, and fungi are nanomachines.edit: Wrong thread.

So I just watched episode 22 again. Why do I hate myself?
RIP Akira Toriyama, taken from us far too soon.Which one was that?
One Strip! One Strip! The one with Petra's dad. I feel your pain.
Oh.
Well, it's not like they had to throw out the body to survive or anything.....
Oh right.
One Strip! One Strip!Finished all 25 episodes on Netflix.
3/5.
3 for what?
-2 for what?
I give this anime a Vague Score-out-of-Obligatory Number.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!I'd easily argue that it's not one of the best anime, but it's a refreshing change of pace from the norm over the last few years. With all the moe shows coming out it's nice to see someone take some chances on some brutality. Combined with the steampunk spider-man esque battle system, the mystery of the titans, the special titans, and the ability to kill off named characters so easily it's all pretty damn compelling.

And the negatives?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.- Poor main character
- Poor Pacing.

Fair enough. I'm pretty much the only one who likes Eren.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Nah I like Eren too. His character's not as strong as some others but he still gets some fine development, mostly in the anime's second half though. I mean the relationship he was having with the other Survey Corps members really showed his true colours a bit and his struggles with trust. Making their deaths all the more affecting to him.

I like Eren a lot. More than Levi (Shock! Horror!). And he's the favourite character of a friend of mine. I identify with the main trio a lot.
I find Eren entertaining. Mainly because he's a typical shounen hero dropped into world where that stuff don't work.
The cast is so large not no-one really has alot of depth, but I find they work as group so it's not a big deal.
Eren's main handicap is that, well, he doesn't get to do much past the Trost arc. And that's before him being abducted becomes a sort of Running Gag. I know the author wanted it to be that way, but still sometimes it's easy to forget he's supposed to be the main character.

And that is all we needed to know.
