I agree with the "Florence" and "Rome" folders.
This is a signature.Well, I'm pretty sure that somewhere, someone is probably lighting up the torches and pitchforks, claiming that this weeks' episode was pushing Leonardo and Lucretia in love on us, but I thought it was a bit more complex than that.
The only time Lucretia said that she was in love with Leonardo was in his opium dream. And he actively avoided the topic. So could they still be going with the read of Leo as a homoromantic bisexual that was implied in Episode 5? Also she stabbed him in that vision. Guess she's the top :P
Similarly, when Lucretia's father was all "GIVE HER MY LOVE AND YOURS", Leo gave no indication of being in love with her. He was more interested in solving the puzzle.
I'm also not entirely convinced that even if Lucretia said it to Leo IRL, it wouldn't be a ploy, because it seems like she's only concerned with saving her father.
I know Riario is a terrible, terrible scumbag, but just...nice abs there, Count.
Any thoughts for the season finale? I'm kind of hoping it end with the introduction of Salais.
I have no idea what you're trying to say there.
Casual talk is a debate you have to win.No, it's comprehensible.
This post has been powered by avenging fury and a balanced diet.I still haven't seen this week's episode, because I no longer have Starz.
Does anyone know another way that I can watch it. I don't have Netflix or Hulu, either, although I plan to get one or the other, eventually.

This is a signature.Sorry, I tend to ramble a lot. Apologies!
Space Wolf: I usually just google "Watch Da Vinci's Demons online", and then I think it's either solarmovie or tvlinks? I've used both, and neither one has given me problems.
Thanks, Raven.
This is a signature.That. Was.
BULLSHIT!
Why would he cut the episode like that?
Casual talk is a debate you have to win.Hyper: I feel your pain, mang. That's not how you end a season, that's how you end a two-parter -__-
Everybody excited for Season 2?
I am!
By the way, we've let the character-page slip; it needs a lot of love.

This is a signature.1) WHERE THE HELL DID THAT GOAT THING COME FROM?!
2) Should the Turk have not perhaps mentioned the involvement of the Capra Demon?
3) I'm really, truly over Zoroaster.
4) Riaro! I missed you, you psychotic bastard!
5) Clarice may be my new favourite character.
Well worth the wait, I thought, but really, the Sons Of Heaven need to get past this whole cryptic BS, and just be all "And by the way, we're trying to stop Goat Satan from ruining your day with a battleaxe.

Clarice is such a badass!
This is a signature.I'm working on fixing up the character page, but I'll need some assistance.
This is a signature.Okay, I guess I'll add my two cents on the new season so far. There's a good deal I've enjoyed, but a lot I haven't, too.
-I wasn't crazy about how they kicked things off in the first episode at all. The In Media Res opening seemed pretty unnecessary, and set up Riario "losing" his black slave girl before he even met her. As I result, I never had an emotional investment in that subplot, though I don't feel the characters really had enough interaction onscreen to warrant much of a reaction, anyway.
-For whatever reason, I've been digging Lorenzo's arc this season almost more than Leonardo's. Clarice's has been interesting, too. I'm also intrigued by this Carlo guy.
-Learning more about the lifelong battle between the Pope Twins was pretty interesting.
-Da Vinci figuring out heliocentrism due to an offhand comment from Zoroaster was amusing. I hadn't even considered before that scene that he didn't already assume it to be the case.
-I enjoyed the vision quest/Time Travel thing.
-Still don't care much about Lucrezia, though I at least recognize what she's after for the sake of her father is an interesting subplot.
-Hated the Circassian superstitious idiocy. Hated the superfluous sex scene between da Vinci and the priestess. Hate the general cryptic pointlessness of the Turk in the latest episode. Hate the Mayincatec mind games. Hated the Old!Leonardo makeup and didn't feel Riley passed himself off as suitably wizened in that role.
Assuming Da Vinci is more or less the same age as his actor Copernicus would be hitting puberty about now so no reason why heliocentrism would be a thing, given this show's strict adherence to historical events.

Trump delenda estI find the king and the duke to be interesting villains.
The character-page is getting a bit better, but it does not include Leo's dad, Andrea Verrocchio, Becchi, the Duke of Milan (from episode 1), Baroncelli, Capaldi, a couple of the Pazzis, and any of the new characters. Also, everyone needs a picture. I'm in college, so I can only do so much. (I don't even know whom Baroncelli and Capaldi are; Wikipedia just mentions them.)

This is a signature.Dreamshell, 98% agree (I like Lucretia's having a storyline that focuses on her being a BAMF). Seriously, The Turk is starting to piss me off. I like the Abyssinian much more, he explains things!
Killing Riario's "slave" was a cheap hit of manpain, definitely. I wish they had developed the character more, as opposed to fridging her :|.
They are telling a good story, but at times, they feel a bit lost. And really, we're halfway through the series, and it seems like the closest they've come to exploring Leo's sexual orientation has been Alfonso telling Lorenzo that his gaydar was tripped. Which was priceless, but still.
I wish that that was the actual dialogue.
Alfonso: "Hey, Lorenzo, Leo is seriously tripping my gaydar."

This is a signature. The whole Machu Pichu bit came off as fucked up and 1950s racist. (I didnt even know where they were supposed to be, but them speaking Quecha tipped me off to how retarded it was that they somehow crossed the whole of south america on foot).
Its fun knowing about Historical characters before they even show up.
I google Cosimo and read up on his bastard son, and then he shows up in the show!
And the Amerigo Vespuci bits were funny as hell.
Casual talk is a debate you have to win.<sarcasm mode> But South America is so tiny and easily crossed, whyever would you be surprised? <end sarcasm mode>
It just doesn't mesh with the tone of the show, I think. Lucretia in Turkey works-ish, because at least the sword makes sense, but Leo going to South America feels like they're just ripping off...oh...oh no.
They're ripping of Assassin's Creed. The Sons Of Mithras are the Assassins. The Labyrinth are the Templars. And Leo is Ezio. How long until Leo faces off with Rodrigo Borgia, I wonder?
- throws up hands*
(But bless him, Amerigo makes my day every episode. And his shipping Zoroaster and Leonardo was priceless. "Is he that well hung?!")

Eh, every hisorical punk in this setting has to fuck with the Catholics. See Hickman's SHIELD.
Notice how the non-white people are always NP Cs or power mushrooms in these big mystic historical games?
Or aliens or some bullshit came down and handed the savage brown people science because no WAY someone not white could build anything on their own.
Casual talk is a debate you have to win.I have emerged out of the realms of lurk to elaborate that Assassins Creed, big mystic historical game, had a middle eastern protagonist, a black woman protagonist and a native american protagonist, and depending on your view of DLCS, a black man protagonist, in contrast to two white guys (Ezio and Edward).
So in the particular case of Assassins Creed, that isn't the case.
"All you Fascists bound to lose."Yeah point to Asscreed on that.
It's only issues are it's absolutely banal moral system and franchise milking.
Casual talk is a debate you have to win.
Okay. ;)
So, for the character page, what do people think of making folders like ‘Florence’ and ‘Rome’ to separate the cast a bit? I’m also wondering if the Medicis deserve their own folder or not, but the issue is muddled a bit due to the fact that, while they run the city and provide him patronage, Leonardo is the central character of the show.
Also, can anyone figure out how to make that page's header have an apostrophe in "Vincis"? I know it's a minor thing, but it sorta bugs me not to see it.
