It was pushed back to next week due to an annual 24-hour spot that the station does about marathons. Don't ask me why they do it, but it happens every year on the same day.

I'm beginning to think this show should be called beat Rui and everything he believes in into the ground, cause the kid just keeps taking a beating mentally, and sometimes physically as well.

To be fair it seems those who are strong mentally and confident in their individuality are immune to the hugs at least. Rui was suffering in a moment of weakness due to being shat on.

Utsutsu was the only other Gatchaman affected by the hugs, as she hestitates to say her I'm gloomy comment.

As always Berg Katze is right.

Also I recently saw the lyrics for Conceited Fool by Lotus Juice. Depending on whether it's Tsubasa or Gel Sadra then the lyrics basically show how much of a selfish asshole they are.

I'm wondering if Tsubasa is a huge Bait-and-Switch and she's not really meant to be part of the team at all. Like, she'll side with Gel to the end despite what's happening, and just keep us guessing.

I don't think I want her to still be part of the team afterwards. Hajime is too damned forgiving.

The talk about a hero and stuff is why it's confusing since it reminds me of Tsubasa. Of course it could be for both her and Gel Sadra.

Also I like that for once Sugane was too creeped out by the Kuu-samas to drink for once. He's had at least one drink in every episode this season. Joe really got him addicted.

Hajime seems to think she's perfect for the Gatchaman job, so I'm sure she'll come to some epiphany.

And yeah, Rui getting beaten down the most out of everyone has always been kind of "uhhhh".

Yeah, well Taiki thought Tagiru was a worthy successor too.

Just because they say that in-universe doesn't mean the audience will agree.

I figured she meant she embodies what a Gatchaman is supposed to be. It wasn't too long ago that the Gatchaman just followed J Js orders without thinking for themselves, which in the long run would have screwed them over because of Berg Katze.

And that the worlds Katze destroyed previously that had Gatchaman were also like that.

New episode:

Rizumu might be the final boss after all, if Hajime's words at the end are any indication. It also seems he had a plan to escape the whole time.

Nice of you to finally figure out what's going on Tsubasa. Now listen to your awesome Grandfather.....if he hasn't already been eaten that is.

Gel really doesn't feel like the villain. I suppose because he doesn't understand that he's harming people.....and he technically not, since the Kuu's were made by the people themselves.

I'm pretty sure Gel is a villain because he sees nothing wrong it. People who don't agree to become one are a nuisance so he sees nothing wrong with having them removed. It also confirms Conceited Fool (Which is about forcing peace on others, becoming a dictator by removing democracy, and killing them if they don't agree) is his theme. Plus he tried to murder Jou for not "beconing one".

It also worries me that this may have happened in the previous worlds he's visited as he's clearly lacking memories of when Berg met him and Berg himself sounds like he's seen the Kuu-samas before.

Edit: Also since he "Changed his melody" this most likely means Rizumu changed his mind about the situation and decided to do something since the Scarlet Conductor is clearly referring to his control of the Red Crowds.

Seems like it, though Hajime believes Tsubasa can make him understand what exactly is wrong with what he's doing. We'll see if she's right (though considering she's yet to be outright wrong on anything, she probably is).

Somebody fucking help Rui! Kid is a mess right now. A broken mess.

He's such a mess that the Kuu-samas have died around him. Rui literally killed the atmosphere.

As twisted as a jerk he might be Rizumu may have become disgusted by what happened to Rui since the message from JJ and his tune changing happens after he sees Rui.

That was a funny shot of Sugane with the girls at the beach with his swim trunks were falling off his thighs. Also since I kinda have a feeling he's sleeping with all of them I hope he picks the pink haired girl since she didn't disagree because the Kuu-samas were nearby. Nobody wants to be in Kuu-sama.

Even when he's trying to help, and being nice to a little girl, Rizumu is still a prick, since all his actions are guided by his misanthropy and inability to believe mankind can be better.

So Tsubasa realized what she did wrong, and Rui got his(?) shit together. Now, the Gatchaman will save the day by beating things up. And lets be honest, isn't that what we all really wanted?

And for Joe to not be a jobber.

Eh. Joe always gets his shit together in time for the finale.

As I thought Tsubasa's grandpa was against Groupthink mentality because of World War II and his brothers death.

Yeah. I guess he was just waiting until he was ready to listen.

I think Hajime didn't even expect her to show up yet considering how wide her eyes are when she hears her voice.

Also I like that there were 0 votes for "Leave it to Sadra".

Wait then what about the people who got eaten by the kuus they killed

I actually would like it if they are dead, because some of them have been in there for awhile.

Though I doubt that they will do that.

We'll just have to wait and see.

Since even Gel himself doesn't know have any control of them, we have know way of knowing what happened to them until the show decides to answer it, so any explanation is fair game.

Hajime certainly took a big risk, but how did she make do that? I don't recall that being one of her powers
