So, I found out today that we now have articles for the Fantastic Four cartoons from both 1967 and 1978. However, only the former has the year in its title. Do we need to add one to the latter as well? I don't know for sure which cartoon has more fans.

There will no doubt be more Fantastic Four cartoons in the future. Put the year each series begin in the article name. Purge the duplicate articles from the wiki.

Keep it breezy!

I would not use "Which has more fans" as a yardstick. I would go for the number on the latter as well, if only to prevent confusion.

We should probably also add "1994" to the title of Fantastic Four.

Sí, number both The Fantastic Four articles and make the main page a disambig for them and for Fantastic Four. Unsure about a number on Fantastic Four — technically there's no title conflict, but definite articles (or whatever a "the" is) are often added or ignored, so being able to see which wicks are to Fantastic Four 1994 and which are meant to be to The Fantastic Four Either Year would be useful.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

After I move the contents of The Fantastic Four to The Fantastic Four (1978), should I make the old title redirect to a list of Fantastic Four cartoons, or to Franchise.Fantastic Four?

If there is such a list (bad idea not linking it), redirect it to that.

Okay, I moved the article about the 1978 cartoon to a page with its year in the title, changed the old page to a list of all the Fantastic Four cartoons released so far, and fixed all the links to the old page. (Strangely, some links appeared in examples that seemed to refer to the original comic instead of a cartoon.) It looks to me like we can wrap this thread up.
