Hm, that's odd. The page's header describes the trope as "a character wearing an exaggerated version of a costume or uniform", whereas the image, page name, and most of the examples are about "a character keeps wearing the costume he was first introduced in, even when that no longer makes sense".
So I think the page header is wrong. That said, it makes the image an example of the trope but still not a very illustrative one.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I agree all around...I think this one might need to go to TRS for definition refining.
That will need a trip to the TRS.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhat about this picture of Angus Young of ACDC? Schoolboy outfit. Most definitely not a schoolboy wearing it.

I'd thought about Angus, possibly combining a pic of him back in the 70s with a current pic.
Given the waiting times at TRS these days, this might be something that the new 'shorties' forum can handle. Then again, it might not; I haven't gotten a clear response yet to my query what that forum is actually for.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!Since we're talking about nailing down the trope's definition, this would be a TRS issue. Short Term is mainly for doing the grunt work of cleaning up things such as wick repair, cross- / de-wicking, and other things that can be taken care of with a few days' dedicated effort.
Clock is set.
Clock's up; locking for inactivity. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
The current page for Costume Inertia shows Sakura in her schoolgirl outfit, with only a token notice that she's in her twenties. This, as far as I'm aware, does not seem to demonstrate the trope.
Beware of occasional bad attitude. I do Fanfics on deviantART. Witness me make a mockery out of myself there, too.
