I'm not accusing, I'm stating, I didn't mean that literally. "This is what SHIELD's budget is going to, this is what the agents do with their PDL's" the joke was overlong.

Am I alone in having a vision of Coulson sneaking into the SHIELD Museum of Fallen Heroes and trying on, not just the hat but Peggy's complete wardrobe?

"I watched you, while you were sleeping" indeed. So after Steve was found, but before he was defrosted, Coulson snuck into the S.H.I.E.L.D. museum, nicked Peggy's outfit, snuck into the lab where Steve was being kept, and acted out his little fan boy tragedy?

Head canon accepted.

I always wondered that there are next to no fanfictions about Coulson learning about SHIELD finding Steve.

My ex-girlfriend/best friend just finally got around to watching Agents of SHIELD...

Me: What do you think of Grant Ward?

Her: hmmm I dunno he's a little predictable but otherwise cool

Chloe Bennent will be having her hair cut to look more like her character does in the comics.

I'm not particularly invested in it either way, but it'll be interesting to see how she'll look in Season 3 regardless.

• CAL: Don't call her that! Only I can call her that!
• COULSON: Okay, I'll keep that in mind.

It's not always easy to tell what frothing madness will react positively to.

I love Cal's total inability to be pleased regarding her name throughout the season.

Call her Skye? "THAT'S NOT HER NAME."

Call her Daisy? "ONLY I CAN CALL HER THAT."

Something tells me if they just said "your daughter" to him he'd respond with "SHE HAS A NAME."

Actually, for the rest of the finale Coulson was careful to refer to her as "your daughter," and he didn't object.

The best part was Coulson's confused reaction...like "man, I can't call her skye, Daisy is forbidden, too, what now...mmm...let's try "your daughter""

Yeah.

Basically, everything about Bio-Dad and Surrogate-Dad teaming up to help Skydaisies was a lot of fun.

I still don't like that Marvel apparently mandated that Skye will now be called Daisy permanently going into Season 3 and that the name "Skye" is a no-go now.

I'm pretty sure that was a joke.

I mean, we'll know for certain when the season starts and we do know that she's going to be calling herself Daisy, but that specific "no more Skye" thing was a joke for a Comic-Con video.

I doubt there was a literal mandate from anyone higher then the showrunners. More then likely they simply decided that having her go by her birth name was the logical continuation of her character arc.

Didn't they shoehorn the name "Skye" into the comics? Why would they do that if the show was just going to switch to Daisy anyway?

I think they made a reference to it, but I don't believe Quake is actually going by the name in any meaningful capacity.

Some news:

Andrew Howard cast in Season 3

His character will be called "Banks" and is described as an authoritative and intimidating agent. From what I can tell unless he has a modified name he is an original character.

Chole Bennet got a haircut. Looks nice, although it's hard to judge exactly it'll look in the show until we see it with her full costume.

Okay, that might come out wrong, but is it just me or does she look a little bit more Asian with the new cut?

It's not just you which makes me wonder if they were deliberately trying to make her "look whiter" in the early seasons

Or, in universe, she grew up in the USA for night 25 years, was subconsciously influenced by it and now that she has a better understanding of her origins decides to change her look to reflect that?

I mean, she just had a seasons worth of background expansion.
