Imma guess somebody doesn't know what "loli" means.
"I like girls, but now, it's about justice."It's so...damn...girly!
"Lol Loli Rock" etc. Title is appropriately self-aware.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot. It's a Magical Girl show with definite Magic Music and Pop Idol Magical Girls. Talk about tradition.
Also I wonder if they'll lambast the recording industry with Take Thats against their foul practices.

The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!I don't have a problem with Magical Girl or anything, but this seems to be going a little overboard with the "appeal to things 8-year-old girls like." It still piques my interest a little, so I'll give it a shot. Even though I find pop music in general absolutely dreadful.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.Should we start a Trope Page for it yet?
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls!Fuck it, I'll pass on this one. I already have another one aimed at five-year olds I'm looking forward to (Totally Spies), and I would otherwise need a lot of counter-ballance to ensure my manliness.
Signatures are for lamers.Let me ask. Do children really like rock groups? Or is it because executives keep showing them rock groups in media so they have nothing else to get interested in?
You know, it's like, take one group of people (teenage girls) and put them in unusual jobs or situations that seem cool (teen rock band who are secretly princesses).
It's the same for Totally Spies (teenage schoolgirls who are super spies), The Amazing Spiez! (teen kids who are super spies), Monster Buster Club (elementary school kids who hunt aliens), did I miss something? Martin Mystery? (teen boy and his sis who solve mystery stuff?)
I'm calling it, in the future, they'll take a bunch of teenage boys and make them, like, interpretive dancers who save the world with interpretive dance or something.

Signatures are for lamers.Rock music and feudal structures: together at last!
So is she a princess because she's the daughter of a king or because she married into it? I sincerely hope the former...
EDIT: Ooh, just noticed how appropriate my avatar is :)

I thought Gravity Falls was supposed to be a step in the right direction for Disney's TV animated fare - I thought Friendship Is Magic (and (but not that much, sadly!) Littlest Pet Shop (2012) - only because I like that show now, too!) was supposed to be a step in the right direction for female protagonists...
GODDAMN IT, DISNEY! Too many steps to count back as usual, as far as I'm concerned.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.How the hell did they get away with that name.
Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Because...they are lolis who allegedly "rock" (let's just see about that)?
Disney knows the lingo young folks use this days.

Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.How is this Disney's fault? This is being made by Marathon, so of course its gonna blow.
As for the name, I cant help but wonder if the name was chosen on purpose to raise controversy just to spread word about the show...
Because Disney endorsed & picked it up (in place of far better fare that they stupidly and pointlessly cancelled!!). That's all I need to go off of, and I feel it's more than justified to be angry at what is clearly a time/resource sink.

Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.From what I can see, its only Disney France who picked it up. Disney Austrailia picked up She-Zow, but thats the fault of....whichever animation studio Im too lazy to look up right now.
They better NOT show this here in the US, that's for sure. (And if you know what I'm talking about) We got enough female-aimed cartoons - that actually and thankfully DON'T suck. Let's keep it that way, alright?
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Agreed. The less Marathon we're subjected to, the better.
It's like "lollipop" but with rock instead of pop?
Ssh! Don't ruin the genre-savvy title!
Loves feel-good animation a whole lot.I have even more reasons to hate Di$ney now.
My angry rant blog!Shouldn't we wait until we get more info than a press release to bash it?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatNever stopped us before.

Together they fight against injustices to find the magical gems that will free Ephedia. ©2013 Marathon Média – MFP - Avec la participation de France Télévisions et The Walt Disney Company France
I bet good money they'll change the series name when it goes international or before it actually launches.
