Suggestion: Voodoo Zombie

For Voodoo Zombie, how about this scene◊ from the film I Walked With A Zombie?

You're thinking of the "walking, flesh-eating rotting corpse" type of zombie. This is the original definition of the term - a freshly-dead body that's been resurrected as a kind of automoton for the controller to use as a slave. I haven't seen the pic (yet) but if it's what I'm thinking it should be fine.

EDIT: Yup...pending something that might get the voudoun aspect across a little better, I'm good with that.

The weird eyes and the way the women are looking at him.

I wonder if the "zombies" from Plan 9 from Outer Space count: undead revived by another party, to whom they are now effectively loyal to. They were revived by science and outer space as opposed to magic, though, which is my main point of contention...

Not really an image suggestion, although zombie!Tor Johnson would certainly be an imposing figure. More musing if this should have an entry on the page or not.

They don't need to be animated corpses for this trope. They can be alive.

Suggetion works, though it's not that strong.

Here's a couple more suggestions: 1◊, 2◊ Good pics of this type of zombie are surprisingly hard to come by.

To both of @10: The first does look like a ghost, and the second is merely an image on a background.

I prefer the first suggestion on 10 to the one in the first post.

1 is already half of Our Zombies Are Different (but mirrored). Wouldn't that make this image like a duplicate? I vote 10.1.
