Honestly, the current image on The Quest looks better here than there.

Great pic, but it doesn't work at all for the trope, so +1 to pull. The pic on The Quest could work well for either page.

I'm voting to move the image on The Quest to Knight Errant.

I don't know how you would show the difference between Knight Errant and The Quest. One is the person and the other is what he goes on. I don't think the current on Knight Errant is bad. A knight is traveling alone in the desert.

That sould be a desert?!

Yeah, it's so close-up it's impossible to tell if he's alone or not. And... if that's a desert, I had no idea. Just thought it was a blank backdrop.

Yeah, that just looks like a mustardy backdrop...maybe he's venturing through the land of Dijon in search of Grey Poupon for his fair lady.

Looks like plains. Dry plains. Would it work better if it wasn't cropped so tightly?

[up] It might, but I still don't think it's quite enough. Also, the main thing that's bugging me is that his getup and the pole remind me of a joust rather than a quest.

I honestly figured it was a desert. I still don't think it would improve anything to use the picture on The Quest.

I figured that using a wandering knight would work better for Knight Errand specifically, as there are probably other ways to find one for The Quest.

I vote pull, but not because it's JAFAAC—it technically isn't, as we know that's a knight, and therefore fulfills half the trope, but because it doesn't do anything to tell me about the errant part.

Anyway, this has a bit more of the wandering aspect to it. Not perfect, but it's a bit better. This too.

Just A Face And A Caption?! It's a guy sitting on a horse, wearing armor, holding a lance. Might want to reread that page. It's totally not.

Weak, sure, but pull without replacement? No. Above suggestions are better I think though.

16.1 would work. 16.2 feels like another trope.

I agree with Wilbyr. 16.1 does do a better job than the current at capturing the wandering aspect, while 16.2 seems like there's something else going on.

Recommending moving the current image on The Quest here and to replace that with this one from The Lord of the Rings:

Let's see... Ragtag Bunch of Misfits in a Standard Fantasy Setting walking through Scenery Porn? Yup. While it may not be clear exactly to what end, they're definitely questing.

I think 16.1 would be better on The Quest. He looks more regal, and more out actually doing something, while the one there looks more like wandering.

I think the LOTR pic might work nicely on The Quest. A quest doesn't have to be about a knight.

I feel The Quest could use the LOTR image. Here, I would go for The Quest image, if only because I like the somewhat mystical appearance of the environment.
