Warframe: F2P co-op Guyvering

I'm very happy to have another one join us. I'm not playing atm, due to transit between flights, but I at least do a bit of grinding daily when not busy irl.

Unfortunately, I may receive my orders tomorrow to transfer to CA. If not, I still need to make sure that I am ready to go.

Eh, it's ok, I don't expect a 24/7 community anyway, I was only planning to log in for the odd itch to shoot some fools out. Anyway, I'm Connelly ingame.

This mod rework is so much better than the last one. Still need truck loads of credits, but more simple. Only think it lacks its a "convert/sell all replicated mods below X rank" button.

Also, turning mods into Endo is not actually meant to cost credit, as far as I know. This should be fixed anytime now, if it is the case.

It never did cost credits. You're just selling the mods for Endo.

It DOES cost credits to upgrade mods, though. I have a large stockpile of money and never enough Endo to do what I want, so it's never an issue for me, but for those that don't grind cash whenever credit boosters pop up, I can see it being an issue.

Thanks, and I mean credits for the fusion procedure. Gaining the last rank for Serration will cost me around 275k credits or so.

Ah, I wasn't selling mods for Endo while this bug was going around. Still, I'm glad it got addressed quickly.

This is bothering me way more than it has any right to: You don't "sell" mods to get Endo, they're dissolved. It says so in the foundry, there's no transaction going on.

There's Maroo but she has fees for extracting Endo from sculptures, not mods.

Baro is here with Primed Cryo Round, Ki'Teer Kubrow armor, Ki'Teer fireworks, gold Impact mods, and more stuff I forgot about already. Oh he has Prime Pedestal to decorate your ship, they only cost credits, no ducats.

Got my primed continuity...i am happy

Burned 5m credits an more than 40k endo between buying the P. Continuity mod and P. Cryo Rounds and the Mara Detron. (which accepts the Thermagnetic shells mod) and upgrading them.

And I got the Booben and Bone Daddy prime, I don't have enough Alertium and Cryotic to finish the Mr resource creep Booben.

At this point, Baro should come with complete primed elemental mod sets. DE please make it happen.

Also, a complete set of corrupted mods for Warframe stats would be nice. +Power Efficiency -Power Strength would be so nice for my Loki.

Apparently the Infested door will be settled this December (I'm somehow not convinced by this timeline), we are definitely getting an Infested frame (I think it's the next one actually) and some other stuff I forget already.

You can expect the update anywhere from thursday to friday. In theory it would be wednesday the 9th, but delays are not unheard of.

Shall we start wildly speculating on the content of the quest?

Since there are hard choices in quest, maybe we should organize ourselves to cover both paths. As in, someone does obey Lotus and returns when she says so. (It's not like anyone will obey her otherwise.) If there are different rewards for each story path, we should warn each other about it. Wouldn't want another focus school fiasco.

What happened with that?

At the end of Second Dream, player are given the chance to choose their first Focus school. When we had no information whatsoever on which school was good, some people made choices they regretted because they didn't deem the school usable. Since lens are fairly hard to find, it was fairly hard to get back into a "proper" school. Also, people put their lens on sub-optimal gears without realizing what makes a weapon or frame worthy of a lens (high influx of kills).

For a fleeting second I thought about getting my alt account up to speed to make it do an exploratory playthrough, but I'd have to do a lot of bullshit in short time and I don't have time. I guess we can just have people choose different path, or rely on reddit/official forums.

My lore prediction for The War Within: Teshin was the teacher of the Twin Queens back in Orokin era, and the Queen supported him long enough to survive the collapse of the Orokin and eventually take care of himself. With how little I know about the actual context of the quest, that is the only plot that came to mind for me.

My prediction for new systems: I've no clue. Focus came out of the blue with Second Dream. Whatever is unlocked by TWW cannot be the Sentient arm-cannons (that's for after) nor a complete revamp of Focus. What I'm thinking is an upgrade to Focus, like for instance modifiers for the active abilities. I think there are too many possibilities gameplay wise to make an accurate prediction at this level.

Er, now you're making me think I messed up. I just finished Second dream and put a Naramon lens on Valkyr. Its usual to get around 300-500 focus for a solo mission and around 50 for the focus orb? With that daily limit so high...

Also, Tenshin has been rubbing me the wrong way since he was introduced for Conclave, and his lines in the teasers ain't helping. :v

Go to missions like Interception or sorties with a high number of high level enemies spawning like crazy, like interception and defense sorties, specially when they have eximus modifiers.

In a single run I got 45k affinity with my excalibro.

Well the important thing is to get the affinity into the Lens: Focus gain is split the same way as affinity, so if your equipment gets the kill credit, it will earn more affinity. So with Valkyr, I think you can get a decent gain by getting your murder ball going.

Affinity boosters and affinity range is also important, to double the gain and reserve affinity from your teammates, respectively.

Well, I use an Eternal War build and Hysteria is almost never used, so it depends if the important part is to kill with the Hyst. claws. And I understand from what you say carrying non-maxed gear takes away potential affinity from the focus? I just got around 4k from a 30min solo survival. Granted, it was in Phobos, but *shrug*

If you've Forma'd a Lensed piece of gear and it's not at max level it's not gaining any focus. As to Hysteria, it should be avoided — you get 50% Focus from Hysteria kills (the 50% from the Warframe) since Hysteria counts as a weapon (and you can't Lens it).
