She's got pierced multiple times but seems fine, because they didn't hit her hitbox. That has to do with hitboxes. Current > suggestion.
Check out my fanfiction!I think the current is both more obvious and more amusing.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Keep Until Better Image Suggested
Suggestion is terrible. I'd be almost impossible to make out at wiki size
Hell the hitboxes are barely visible at its current size.
The pic of the Spy contrasted with that of the Scout might work, but I'd want to see it at wiki size before making a final judgment. Keep Until Better Image Suggested until that happens.
Keep Until Better Image Suggested. Also, as Cobra said, the suggestion is waaay too busy.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI can't look at the actual image right now; is that how big the panels actually are? If so, I'm gonna have to say ...I can see the hitboxes but I can't speak for the general public.
The hitboxes are pretty background there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanScout's is pretty good, though. That pose is nothing like his model.
Not entirely convinced it's better than current, but eh
Moon◊It's also unsourced fanart, despite its wick saying it's from a video game.
Cool. I'm gonna add it to the caption, so at least it's there if it's decided to retain the current.
ETA: Wait, there IS no caption! Hmm. What are the rules for this kind of situation?

If we do decide to keep the current, we can discuss caption options here.
I meant, is there a way to give credit to a fan art illustration through links when there's no caption to put it in? I don't believe it's "proper" to add a caption just for that purpose (correct me if I'm wrong).
Nah, adding a caption just for that purpose is fine, and has I believe been done on several pages.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Put the source/permission/whatever as a hidden comment under the image. No need to use it as the caption.
I'm okay with either one, actually. The current is a better picture in general, but doesn't actually show what a hitbox is for anyone who isn't already familiar with the concept.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableIn this particular case, I think that would be best.

I have a suggestion◊. Snake's up tilt in smash has an utterly absurd range.
His forward tilt has unusual range◊, but not on quite the same scale.
If the above pictures are unsatisfactory, I can probably come up with a better one. EDIT: Did it anyways

Belief or disbelief rests with you.I'm having trouble seeing what's going on in that image.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight! The explosion occurs outside Mario's(?) body. It's not a good illustration, though.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanPresumably, the range of that kick is longer than his legs. But in a still image this is indistinguishable from the target simply being knocked back by the attack, so it can't really illustrate the trope.
I have an awesome idea for an image (basically a diagram of various genres with captions identifying hitbox zones) but finding the right images to compose it with isn't particularly easy.

An Ear Worm is like a Rickroll: It is never going to give you up.Clock is set. I've got an idea but I need to put it together.
The current image is just so-so; it really doesn't have anything to do with hitboxes. I suggest a portion of this image◊, which shows the Spy (from Team Fortress 2) disguised as other classes, and while his appearance changes, his hitboxes do not.
