Yeah, "eating a hamburger" is not this trope.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanDoes this work?
That's a slight improvement, as it at least shows more than one person involved. Doesn't show whose lunch it is, though.
Check out my fanfiction!Image is still some guy eating a burger. Doesn't say if he stole it or bought it himself.
I would guess on the guy sitting down with the bag in front of him.
It would be my natural assumption as well.
The natural assumption would be that it belongs to the guy who's eating it, methinks, since you don't really see where on the table it is (the bag is the only indication there is a table at all). If you could see it was on his side of the table, it would be obvious, though.
Check out my fanfiction!I don't like @3. No idea at all how the food is someone else's.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like both the current pic and #3. But there must be a picture of somebody actually taking the food from somebody else's plate, which would be more illustrative.
Are there other angles of the scene where it's more obvious?
Check out my fanfiction! The one actually showing Jules taking something from Brett is this one: http://imgur.com/Rm4KCfm.
It's taken from this yt vid, so the quality is bad. It's just to give you an idea.
I don't know. I think we need to have an image from Pulp Fiction there, but the angles are not ideal.
EDIT: This one from Red Dwarf could work, though it's not as iconic. Cat steals "Fat-boy's" French fries.

Better version of .
That's not bad...combined with the first suggestion, maybe?
Eh, not real keen on that one.
Yeah, I think I'd like 3 and 13 together.

Can I suggest that it's good, but a more obvious sequence/continuity between frames would be better (if at all possible)?
I think it would be more immediately obvious if say he was picking up the food and then eating it. This way we can only infer the burger came from the same place.
Though admittedly it is a bit nitpicky.

"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."I do like that one better.
"Nullius addictus iurare in verba magistri, quo me cumque rapit tempestas, deferor hospes."I like that one as well. A lot.
19.
Check out my fanfiction!+1 for 19.
for 19, and with the previous caption.
One or two more votes for 19 and we can run with it.
To anyone who is not familiar with the scene this image comes from, it just looks like Samuel Jackson angrily eating a burger. It could just as easily be his own burger that he paid for.
