Discuss TV Tropes itself, such as observations you've made about the site/forum/wiki.
NOTE: Keep it civil; try not to get into any Flame Bait-y territory, per the forum rules (in particular, drama importation and popcorn posting are not allowed, and this thread is for discussion about the site and not the users). In addition, while discussing the Edit Banned thread is not prohibited on its own, discussing and/or alluding to specific cases is not permitted.
One thing I've noticed is that for all how the page for They Might Be Giants claims them to be the unofficial official band of this wiki, there's relatively few people on this site who seem to ever reference them.

^ I was thinking of that. In any case, Lucky Translation isnt for literal lucky translations and has been renamed to Incidental Multilingual Wordplay. It's when a translation uses wordplay that happen to fit the spirit of the original meaning by coincidence.

Macron's notesNow that I think of it, Woolseyism might cover a lot of the misuse that got Lucky Translation renamed to Incidental Multilingual Wordplay.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I remember alphabetizing some of the folders on Incidental Multilingual Wordplay a while ago and being puzzled why so many of the entries did not feel "incidental". It being one of those renamed tropes that never really got its examples cleaned to accommodate the new name explains a lot.
"Let's hear it for Nine Inch Nails! Woo, they're good!"It's possible that it's a side effect of how TRS cleanup is often focused more on wicks than on-page examples, even though that's not how it's supposed to be, and both are supposed to be cleaned. I recall the same thing happening to Blaming "The Man" after it was renamed from The Man.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I've realised that a running gag in my Pantheon profiles is having characters gain memories of alternate timelines and trying not to have an existential crisis over it.

Someone said "People REALLY suck at describing Awesome Music" I tried my best to describe the Opening to Tokimeki Tonight on its YMMV page.

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI've noticed that when I search the forums, all the top results are from the Neon Genesis Evangelion thread.
That feeling when I see an image that I don't even have the foggiest of clues what it's showing, but I check that it already had two IP keeps, so without a counter it'd be pointless to bring up.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupMight be because it's both an old and long thread, and one that has discussed many topics somewhat relevant to understanding it (Freudian and Jungian ideas, otaku culture, Kabbalah, Japanese culture, Japanese politics, Japanese work practices, the sarin gas attack that happened while it was airing and obliged the hurried rewrite of "syncretic cult carrying out acts of sabotage to bring about the apocalypse"). But we really need a better search feature. I just go to google and type "site:tvtropes.org".
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.I meant, I'm trying to look for the thread about your most recently launched articles, but the search function returns a lot of posts on the Evangelion fanfic thread containing just one of the words in my search term.

Just use Google search guys
New theme music also a boxThis is like sayinng "Breathe air!" to a person who is choking to death.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Everyone is confused. The old search is broken and the new search is broken. Thus, goolging "site:tvtropes.org "forums" "text"" is more reliable than the intended method.

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I noticed that the blurb for the Civilization games didn't have a history of the game's releases.
So I did it myself (even if it's woefully incomplete at this point; I hope someone more familiar with the older games sees it).
INT is knowing a tomato is a fruit. WIS is knowing it doesn't belong in a fruit salad. CHA is convincing people that it does.Do Quotes pages have their own equivalent to Image Pickin' or can you just add to them as you please?
BREAKING: Scaramouche Reportedly Caught Doing the FandangoQuote pages are pretty much a free add, even page quotes, but there is a page quote thread in Long Term Projects to run ideas by if you're unsure.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I've added a lot of quotes to Quotes/ pages and no-one's ever told me off for it.

My exams are over so I'm looking forward to contributing again
I've quite the handful of work pages in mind. Even if a lot of them are to remove story-specific examples on Creepypasta. So I might as well have the appropriate avatar for it.◊

No child should have to think of selling medication for food. Are you afraid? Most of the examples on Crazy Is Cool are just old misused examples from back when the trope was called Crazy Awesome... But since those examples are awesome and fun to read I dont mind.
Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.I think I noticed this about Crazy Is Cool as well, even though the TRS happened before I joined. I haven't looked too closely into the meanings, but I noticed that a lot of "[character] is this" entries that read as if people changed the names but didn't rewrite the examples to fit the new name or remove examples that are misuse.
Does Woolseyism cover that?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
