It is clear whoever "Nerissa" is at the ending is the same person who Bigby encountered at the Woodsman's apartment.
There is also the question of Prince Laurence. There is a possibility that he has survived, and he later shows up in places where Nerissa is at. He would be the best person to know how to find Faith if she were around, but considering that Faith was able to hide from Laurence before, and her own father before that, Faith has done a masterful job of disguising herself from the man who knows her best. Just like in her story.
GloveAndBoots is good for Blog!Started up episode 4 today at last (been a really busy time lately). What do I get out of the butcher/pawn shop choice?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987a few missable book entries if you go to the lucky pawn first and major plot (which you get anyway later) and extra dialogue in episode 5 if you go butcher first
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."I find it hilarious that, in my playthrough, Jack Horner was a One Scene Wonder and never to be mentioned again.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Technically, it's impossible for Jack to only appear once. Although he'd still fit One-Scene Wonder.
I got him twice, since I went to the Lucky Pawn first. But I completely missed him in Episode 3.
How so? I missed him in Episode 3 AND Episode 4 so, he only appeared once in Episode 2.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. He will always be at the Lucky Pawn when you get there, but if you go to the Cut Above first, he leaves almost right away. He's still there and has lines, though.
I totally forgot about that. Well, It still constitutes as a One Scene Wonder. lol
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Well, I'm helping out the Fables however I can at this point. Just finished episode 4. Moving on to 5.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987... Good lord... who would've thought that one could have sympathy for a pimp and his lady?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987I had far more sympathy for Vivian. I think she was more dragged along for the ride and regretted what she did. Georgie seemingly didn't regret a thing til the end and never took the responsibility. Its people like him who gave the Crooked Man power in the first place. By fearing him.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing. So, like, the more I think about the more this episode is a pretty good finale. And yet I can't exactly say I completely loved it. Can't pin down the reason why though.

#IceBearForPresidentBecause there's still too many dangling threads?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987In my opinion, they're threads that are meant to dangle and be thought back to long after the game has ended rather than Sequel Hooks.
I think my main issue is the battle with Mary. Its long, very drawn out, and has no dialogue what so ever. Mary just had no depth and no story presence.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Mary! That's it. Most of the factory portion of the game is what getting me. I mean Mary chose to fight Bigby without a silver weapon? We see that the Crooked Man had the gun, so basically even when the fight started to go south for her she didn't have one of her...shards have one on her? Or at least go nab it from CM?
And the Crooked Man himself practically let himself get caught by not only keeping the gun but also just giving himself up. I mean we see that he can work a crowd at the trial, which he no doubt was hinging his gamble on, but he really didn't have to gamble in the first place if only Mary had the gun.
I liked the episode but it felt pretty contrived at the factory.

#IceBearForPresidentI get the feeling Mary probably thought she could use her powers to Zerg Rush him... and for a while, it was working.
Also... WHAT A TWEEST.

Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987It was working, but there was no depth what so ever to her character. She was evil and a bitch and that was it. She had no steak in the Crooked Game. She was just there to be an obstacle for Bigby and etc.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.Be fair - how much do you know about Bloody Mary besides "oh hey she's an urban legend"?
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987^^ Meh that part I was okay with. I mean when we saw Bigby throw down with Grendal of all fables my response was "Welp. Bigby really is top dog 'round here. No-one's gonna be a challenge huh?"
Turns out there was someone who was a challenge. And was challenging in a believable way. So yeah that's about the basis for my gripe with her fight since she forgone the tool that established her as threatening.

#IceBearForPresidentShe temporarily disbanded the Anglican church and had several false pregnancies?
She got paid to commit horrible acts of violence. I think that was her motivation.
Also, the phrase is "skin in the game".
As for the other concern over the Crooked Man just giving himself up without a fight... have you ever considered that maybe he wanted to get brought in? Sure, he's crooked (heh), but most of Fabletown is indebted to him, so he may think it's possible to talk his way out of this (which it almost was).
But why did he think he could get away with ordering the murders of two women? Well...it's entirely possible that he didn't. He never admits his guilt, the evidence you use to convict him turns out to be a lie, and when you hear the "real" story from Faith later on she's speculating and we already know that she lies. I know my first thought when she started telling me what really happened was "Oh shit, she killed them''.
Of course, I don't think that's what happened, myself. I do think that the Crooked Man gave the order. He was just acting too smug in that first meeting, and he really had no reason not to turn Georgie in right away if it would keep the heat off his back.

... I still can't believe Nerissa/Faith played everyone so hard. I totally got Keyser Soze'd. Thankfully, I wasn't gonna just let her get away with it.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987You interpret going after her as arresting her, do you? -smirk-
I've never heard 'skin in the game' and I've always heard 'stake in the game'. (which I naturally misspelled. Stupid me.)
Well, yeah, she was being paid for it, but there wasn't anything more. She's there, she does evil things, gets her jollies from it, and that's it. There's really nothing more to her character.
Compared to Vivian who, even as a villain, had far more depth and even LESS screen time/lines than Mary did.
I'm a critical person but I'm a nice guy when you get to know me. Now, I should be writing.
Fables that are especially well-known can recover from injuries that should be fatal (Snow takes a sniper's bullet to the head in the comics, but is able to recover), but dead is dead.
