JAFAAC, sorry, unless that blob is meant to be funny.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe article has Left 4 Dead's infected mode listed as an example, as it lets you play as the special infected in the game and your goal is to stop the survivors. While I don't think it exactly fits the spirit of the trope unlike what is implied with the current image, there are a few screenshots to show this.

These all look JAFAAC to me.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI actually like the Current.
Never played the game, but it's clear that the Slime is a mook, and yet somehow on the same level as the PC-looking people. I think that's as close as we're going to get in a single image.

So Keep Until Better Image Suggested
It really isn't though. It could just as easily be seen as a Non-Human Sidekick with one of the humans formerly being a Mook. And the picture doesn't demonstrate how the blob is a "breakout."

None of the humans look like mooks (All look like stereotypical JRPG characters) and the breakout part is implied by him being the center of a V-Formation Team Shot.
I suppose he could be taken for a sidekick, but that alone, to me, isn't bad enough to pull without a better replacement.

The mook isn't just in with the team, he's actually front-and-center. He's about a mook-looking as they get, being an amorphous slimeblob, but being put front and center shows that he's something of a major character.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. This is pretty solidly Keep Until Better Image Suggested to me. I'd probably alter the caption to make it more apparent that we're talking about the blob in the center, but otherwise...
Moon◊I like it. For such a hard trope to illustrate, it does it rather well, even without the caption.
Check out my fanfiction! One character have been removed from that picture for some reason...
[1]◊
Easier to show the pic within the 350x parameters.
I never played the game that the characters on the current picture are from, so yeah, I agree that we should pull it.
Firmly Keep Until Better Image Suggested on this.

I've never played the game in question, but I got it immediately—all of the other characters have really detailed costumes and looks and they're human, and then you just have this bland monster thing right in the middle. The caption even clarifies it's a main character.
Perhaps it requires some amount of familiarity of game design conventions, but it's clear generic monster blob is normally a mook, while costumed humans are usually heroes. Keep Until Better Image Suggested.

Keep Until Better Image Suggested. Same reason as
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Everything Helter Skelter said.
Changed my vote to Keep Until Better Image Suggested. The consensus is swinging toward that, so a couple more votes for that and we can roll with it.

I actually think that kinda obscures it...the witch character being so different from the other humans makes her stand out just as much as the blob.
... eh. I like the current better. The pink... thing is just visually distracting.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.As previously mentioned, Blob Monsters are a common type of mook, and she... isn't. I think the more, the merrier in a playable character lineup.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I also prefer the current, if only because the way the blob and girl are posed in the replacement makes it look more like a pet.

Breakout Mook Character. Speaking as someone who is not family with the game, I have no clue who any of the characters are and the picture really doesn't give any context on which one is the breakout character. I'm assuming it's the slime thing?
