I prefer the second one, as the first is just a page quote tacked onto an image.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI also prefer the second. Oh my goodness...
(What's up with the first image covering some text?)
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.8Bit is just text. Charcoal being upside down is an image.

Check out my fanfiction! In terms of the images, it's a lateral move for me. Though I think the original caption is unnecessary.
That said, there's definitely more 8Bit on this site so I say make the change since Foxtrot is a nice little change of pace.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.Prefer Foxtrot. 8Bit is just text.
The Foxtrot is far preferable, as the image is actually doing some of the work as opposed to just the text in the 8 Bit Theater.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.Be careful; Foxtrot is a Sunday-only cartoon these days, which means that the instance here might be an entire work. Can someone check?

It's from a seven panel comic.

There's plenty of support for the FoxTrot image so I've put it up again, potholed and tagged. Do we want a caption?
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going."Well, he did open the wrong end of the bag."
I don't think this needs a caption.
Rhetorical, eh? ... Eight!I like that because it actually looks like he did. So it ties to the image in another way not explained by the text in the image.
Check out my fanfiction!Love the Foxtrot pic. 11 works for a caption for reasons previously stated.

The original image left me wanring to know more about the context. Supporting the Foxtrot image.
Yeah, I'd go with the second, the first is just pretty much telling what the trope means instead of demonstrating it.
+1 for Foxtrot. Stands on its own, unlike the previous.
"Polite life will fill you full of cancer." - Iggy Pop "I've seen the future, brother, it is murder." -Leonard CohenThe pic is already up, so no point in giving it more support. I do like the quote in 11 though.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."11 is added. Locking up.
The picture in Achievements in Ignorance was Changed w/o Discussion. Personally don't see anything wrong with the replacement image but same time out of principle just reverting it back and starting this thread. Original picture is on top and included a caption (which I can't quite get to format. The laconic definition of the trope is "Character unknowingly performs a supposedly impossible feat."
The card said: "Make your swords as things unto chainsaws." No, it's not possible. He did it anyway
