So I recently got Dynasty Warriors 8: Empires. Naturally, the first thing I did was check out its character creation...

I've already begun matching weapons (of which there are an even greater variety now) with the rest of the RWBY cast: Cinder gets the blade bow, Torchwick gets the rapier, Junior gets the short rod, Glynda gets the formation rod...

Well... if anybody is interested, I made a RWBY crossover. With Killer Instinct

Yes, really. Based on the new game, of course. They just fit so well together. I plan to have ALL the KI cast involved in the story. However, it will be written like separate episodes.

First chapter is already up, it has team JNPR teaming up with Orchid and Jago, they're assigned by the duo to investigate an island... and a certain skeleton and killer robot will face them as the story goes on.

Afterwards, I plan for KLLR RWBY 2 having team RWBY teaming with Thunder, where they will fight Sabrewulf, thinking the werewolf a brand new subspecies of a Beowulf.

3 will have CFVY, TJ Combo, and Riptor. 4 has Ironwood, Penny, Glacius, and Sadira. Finally, 5 will have team SSSN, Aganos, and Kan-Ra.

Of course, they're all work in progress. And if I want to write something good, I wait until Iron Galaxy has shown the story mode for Season 2.

... And I kinda want to write Omen vs Raven Branwen, but since there's not info on how Raven kicks ass... yeah.

Regardless, while RWBY's fate isn't clear, I think there's still positive discussion to be had.

Aren't the Killer Instinct people ridiculously freaking tough? I mean tougher than the Mortal Kombat guys, who survive regular skull fractures, intestinal destruction, organ failure, and impalements? I seem to recall at least one Killer Instinct character being referred to as a god.

Maybe not as fast as RWBY people.

I think there's two, Eyedol from the first KI and Gargos in 2. The latter is featured prominently in Jago's story and Omen's presence. Makes me wonder if the True Final Boss for KI Season 3 is Gargos instead of ARIA.

And that's the other reason I chose them. I mean, it's kinda common to have ideas for Street Fighter characters to crossover with, since they're the first fighters in gaming, but I want characters who fit well into RWBY.

Also, Ultratech as a competitor to Schnee Dust Company and any other in Remnant? It's a perfect setup. SDC may have been rumored to have shady behind the scenes events, but Ultratech's rumors are worse. Imagine the Fulgore units fighting against those new Atlas security mechs.

I feel they're close enough in scale. Even then, with Crossovers, I tend to Hand Wave major scale issues away for convenience.

In a similar vein, I had concepts for Guilty Gear X RWBY, (I don't plan to make it, and i'm waiting for news of Volume 3, due to lack of stuff for the RWBY Cast to work with) where some of the characters would be far beyond any of the RWBY cast. Namely Sol and to a lesser degree Ky. It's mostly a bunch of concepts. One of which would be Robo Weiss, if only because the idea of her having a really warped version of Mirror Mirror I found really amusing.

The similar music styles of the two tracks is probably what does that.

You mean Mirror Mirror and Holy Orders, right? ^note For people who don't know, one of Robo Ky's themes in Guilty Gear X2 is a remix of his normal theme song, Holy Orders, into a really warped and off key version called "Holy Orders?". The idea with Robo Weiss is that her music would be a warped instrumental of Mirror Mirror named "Mirror Rorrim?"

I can actually see why the SDC would make a Robo-Weiss in-universe. The White Fang has issues with the SDC and the Schnee family in general, so they'd probably try to assassinate the more prominent Schnees during public SDC events (since that's the easiest way to get at them). Is there a better way to prevent that possibility than having to speak through a robot made in your likeness? Maybe. Would SDC care about finding one? Kinda doubt it.

Probably an Aura, but we don't know if Aura can be "sensed". Nobody ever identifies anyone by their Aura, except for Pyrrha, but she "unlocked" Jaune's Aura with her own, so maybe that was a "close contact" thing. Furthermore, whenever someone pulls a vanishing act in RWBY, nobody finds them until later.'

That said, since this is about as close to anime as you can get without being anime, I presume they can probably sense aura, the White Fang/Faunus are probably attuned to it, and SDC would want a LMD of Weiss that was a near-perfect replica, so they'd want something that would fool "aura detection".

Albeit, if this is RWBY's timeframe, Penny is the first robot to have an aura and she's from a technologically advanced region, so the concept's still pretty new.

...according to that Fulgore vs Sektor Death Battle, the Paladins are f'cked. Then again, we saw one taken down a first-year team the moment it appeared.

You know, it sounds like you could maybe fuse Killer Instinct, RWBY, and Guilty Gear together.

Although, I do wonder about Riptor's existence in Remnant; do dinosaurs even exist there? I mean, prehistoric Remnant surely have all sorts of mysterious things, but thanks to the Grimm all over the world, it makes it difficult to find out any historical artifacts or fossils.

Anyway, if Ultratech somehow manages to convince the world council to use their Fulgores instead of those other mechs (what are their names again? The big one that got stolen and the replacement droids) they would have an ace in the hole. ARIA or whoever the true leader(s) is could push a button and all the Fulgores will go berserk.

I think you can Hand Wave/shoehorn dinosaurs in, on account of that picture of Ruby and Weiss riding on a velociraptor. (Ship confirmed?)

Paladins. And Fulgore's got... nuclear reactor smachtors in his chest... so I think it won't take much convincing to get the Fulgores out there. However, you've also got to consider the tech tree. I mean yeah, Atlas seems to be ahead of Vale, but if Fulgore's three generations above everyone else well... if you're putting Ultra Tech into the RWBY world, I think you have to consider the technological advancements that would create, For Want Of A Nail. They can't keep something as deadly and advanced as Fulgore around when Atlas and most other kingdoms are calling stuff like the AK-130's and the Paladins state-of-the-art.

Either the Schnee AK Androids are weak as butterflies, or Blake and Adam took down a train full of them. Blake should be the best fighter in the group, going on raids like those before she even went to school - yet her fights aren't as impressive as her team mate's. I guess she did square off against Pyrrha in the food fight, though.

It'd be neat if they were straight (but very lifelike) automatons and Penny was (for whatever reason) in the neighborhood. Everyone's walking on eggshells about her because they're other robots that are created for no reason other than to take a bullet meant for a Schnee. Penny, however, feels no drama on the subject; they have no aura and thus no soul. They're no more "like her" than your average car, so she feels no unusual empathy for them.

How old were those other droids were before they got replaced? Maybe droid tech was around during the Great War, and Ultratech created the Fulgore Type-01 units at the time? Sure, they COULD annihilate the faunuses but let's just say nature triumphs over technology.

Then a few decades later, say the years where Ozpin is an active hunter and Summer Rose was still around, Fulgore Type-02 units were created.

And cut to today, when Ironwood just announced the replacement for the older droids. Ultratech upped the ante by making the Fulgore Type-03 units bombastically introduced themselves. And since there's a buildup to the tournament arc, who's to say that UT would want to have the original Fulgore Type-03 (aka the one we used in the game) competing?

@Dragon Geyser For the record, Robo Weiss would similar to Robo Ky, in that she would be a perversion of the original. Robo Ky doesn't actually use much of any of Ky's actual moves, and Robo Weiss would have a copy of her sword, but all her elemental stuff would be weapons built into her. Her fire powers are flame breath, her ice powers are a massive fan built into her, ect. Her personality would also be a lazy and incredibly uncultured.

What about the Robot ninjas from Mortal Kombat? Can they be in this fanfic too? Or even better Cyborg ninja from MGS? I think I might had killed this thread.
