I noticed that the blog recommends the tvtropes page.

This guy clearly knows what he's talking about.

Adam has horns.

How did I not notice this before.

Aside from Anime Hair being a thing.

He's so the leader of White Fang, or at least a leader of White Fang.

His horns are dark red. They don't light up when he does that super slash◊.

My thoughts? He's definitely with White Fang.

Is it just me, or does anyone else wish for Weiss' fortune to crumble so she'll stop bitching? Also, episode 2 was amazing.

Actually the recap mention something about Mounty that I never heard before.

Mounty dislikes the notion that you should like all the characters from the get go.

Which is a valid point.

Eh, Weiss is both annoying and cliche. I really hope she gets her character development at lightspeed.

As many people have stated already, and from what we know from the songs, Weiss will probably be likable in a few episodes down the line into the season. Monty's example with Blake said about 20, so I'll give her 15 episodes.

So Blake and Weiss are pseudo-Temporary Scrappies? fair enough. What about Ruby and Yang?

Actualy I find Weiss to be fine. I like snarky characters and she didn't do anything particulary wrong to be disliked so far (it's not like she didn't have right get angry on Ruby).

If you asked me who is Temporary Scrappy I would say Yang, who is perfect example of superficial character so far.(Yeah I just talked badly about most popular character. Shame to me as I am nothing short of hipster).

Anyway while Weiss is behind both Ruby and Blake in my personal ledder, she is bitchy in very causal, straigh-forward and enjoyable manner.

PS: While I agree with Monty that notion about how people should like characters from begening, I don't thing he is trying enforce that by making intentionaly unlikable characters.

Weiss may not be widely likeable now, but if she turns out to be anti-faunus she's gonna be torn apart. Anyone that is will probably take like ten popularity hits, which won't be restored even when the character learns their Aesop.

Chances are that at least one of the eight will be to show how big a deal Faunus oppression is though.

Yang is a Cool Big Sis - that's not superficial. Weiss may act like an abrasive Alpha Bitch, but she's only doing that because she actually does think Ruby is a hazard to her health.
