The RWBY wiki calls her Umber. Of course it's unofficial. I prefer Amber or Scarlett.

I showed this to my cousin today, from trailers through episode 3.

His reactions:

• Red: "Wow. She is a god of death."
• White: "Awesome! Next."
• Black: "Awesome"
• Yellow: "Wait, are they all sisters?"
• Episode 1: "This is some of the best music I've heard in years. Where can I buy it?"
• Episode 2: "You know, I don't think Blake's a Faunus - I think she's half Grim." *cue ten-minute debate*
• Episode 3: "CONFIRMED! I win!"

Blake herself never confirmed nor denied her being/not being a Faunus, keep in mind.

Oh, I know, that's my cousin talking. I'm still a believer in the She's-a-faunus theory, hence the ten minute argument that followed. He sees the content of the book she was reading as hard proof.

Speaking of the book, I saw a WMG about the Enemy Within man in her book representing Adam. How he can save someone in danger in one minute, and condemn others to death in the next.

I'm speculating that it represents Blake herself, and some sort of Superpowered Evil Side she has.

Oh, I have to point this out. Ruby didn't like the idea of moving ahead by two years because she didn't want other Hunters to look at her like we look at Weiss.

Which I'm sure is true, but I think there's a hidden reason for it. When I see that she's making notes to her Signal friends, and admit that she doesn't like being surrounded by strangers, that makes me think she's upset that she had to leave her friends.

Maybe we can add that as Hidden Depths for her?

I really like how each episode ends with a different theme song... here's hoping they release them for purchase on iTunes!

Hmmm...On another look at the Black Trailer, it seems the crates have Weiss's symbol on them. So Adam and Blake were trying to sabotage a Schnee Train of presumably Dust. Maybe there's a reason why she knows so much about Weiss's family and practices...

Considering what she said about their practices, try reversing it: Maybe there was a reason she was robbing a Schnee train.

Assuming that the trailers are canon, of course.

At least R was just a weapon profile according to Monty.

I can already see the thousands of Ruby/Blake fanfics over this.

I've been thinking that Blake is some sort of werewolf.

If Blake is a werewolf, then... would that make Adam a deer?

You know, Professor Ozpin seemed rather different here than in episode one.

Something is wrong with him, and I want to know what.

My guess is some sort of side-effect of long-term exposure to Dust.

Maybe that wasn't actually Ozpin? Maybe that was an illusion/avatar?

My personal theory on Blake is that the hairband is a way of showing support to the Faunus cause, like wearing a pink ribbon.

Or it hides real faunus ears, I think both might work.

Regarding Oz, by my personal theory is things just got LOT a worse in these severals days/weeks and it affect him.

Wearing animal ear-headbands as a way to support the Fauna? That's a cool idea.

What could've happened to Ozpin that made him seem as off as he did to Yang and Ruby? Overwork?

Not necessarily something personal happened to him - as headmaster for a school to train Hunters/Huntresses, logic dictates the guy probably has information on the Grimm and their activities. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out he knows something 'big' is on its way, or of some sort of conspiracy etc.
