I'm happy at the news. One thing I think they should add is more stages though, characters I'm not too fussed about.
I haven't played any Street Fighter games since the superior version of Street Fighter 2 Turbo on the Snes. I take it I have missed a lot?
Then... gasp! That means you've missed the greatness that is Dan Hibiki! The Streetest Fighter there is!
This... this cannot be!

Is Eddie Honda's Hundred Hand Slap (or whatever its called) still the newb cannon of choice for Street Fighter gamers or has it gone now?
^^ You're right, there's also Skullomania.
^ Not really. It has it's uses (especially the EX version in IV), but it's not really all that powerful.

SAWADA NOW
Considering the prominence of the characters facing off against Poison, Hugo, Rolento and Elena, I think we have found the rivals.
Gotta admit, Rolento vs Honda and Elena vs Rose is just random. At least Poison vs Viper has a sort of a opposites theme going on and Hugo vs El Fuerte are about two wrestlers (though I definetly think it should have been Zangief instead)

It includes the full game and every DLC from before, plus all that new stuff, but is cheaper? That's nice.

...
Ah Poison. You know, I used to have a problem with her...status.
Note that I didn't hate that she was post op(or pre-op or whatever they said she was), it was more because I mistakenly believed they was changed into a man out of poor censorship.
Things got a lot easier when I found out she was always that way, as it no longer felt like a nonsensical change.
While I still see every single yuri doujinshi that suddenly becomes Futanari whenever I look at her, I can now far better acknowledge her awesomeness, and how revolutionary it is (Street Fighter has always had diversity, even if it's poorly stereotyped diversity at times and what's more diverse than a Transgendered woman).
Her and Viper definitely seem like a good choice for rivals. I'm glad to see she's getting more exposure. Maybe this will lead to a new Final Fight game at some point as well (we have Guy, Cody, Hugo, Rolento, Sodom, Maki, and now Poison. I can't help but wonder if Capcom is considering it).
Keep being Classy Poison. Keep being classy...
Is her name a pun on that one song by that old Rap group Bell Biv Devoe? It would make a lot of sense to me.
One Strip! One Strip!I kind of wish Capcom would just make another Final Fight at this point.
What if the unknown new character is Haggar? I don't think he's every been in a a Street Fighter game, unless you count his cameo is SFXT. I guess he would be too similar to Zangief though. Someone completely new would be nice, as long as he/she is cool.
I'm just gonna wait for Ultra Mega Street Fighter 4-2.5: Electric Boogaloo. Yes I know we've all made that joke, but come on another re-release?
I'm with Star, can we just get a new Final Fight?

I've got a PC retail copy of the vanilla version since late 2009, and am wondering how I can be able to have the $15 update thing work for me at the time it comes out.

I now go by Graf von Tirol. The DLC only works with Super Street Fighter 4 or with Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition.
As much as I'd love a new Final Fight, the last thing I want is a Final Fight created by modern day Capcom.
ALL CREATURE WILL DIE AND ALL THE THINGS WILL BE BROKEN. THAT'S THE LAW OF SAMURAI.Modern day Capcom isn't that evil. They can make good stuff.....most of the time.....kinda of.....maybe....quick someone help me out.
Their games are fine. It's their corporate practices that leave a lot to be desired.
Here it is.
Hurray!
