I really like the current, but I think this may be better at showing the trope because it's dynamic and, well, ninja.

Oh yeah, and this is the old IP thread with a massive crowner. The suggestions that aren't dead links are often good; I like this◊ guy◊ very much.

But not too many people know who those guys are. At least a lot of people know who Randy is. Plus he often uses his scarf as a weapon.

The popularity of a character of work doesn't matter when choosing an image^note well, almost never; for here, it doesn't. I like your suggestion very much, and if you can find a screencap of Randy using his scarf as a weapon that might be good too. I also like some other images; in fact, I'm not sure which one is best, so I'm just bringing up idaes that people can comment on.

I wouldn't be surprised if this thread gets enough good suggestions to need a crowner (a type of poll) to determine which ends up on the page.

Also, I have no idea who Randy is.

I prefer the more dynamic pictures.

I like the suggestion slightly more since it has a greater emphasis on the actual scarf. But this isn't about a replacement of a bad image, just an improvement of an already good one.

Eh, I prefer the current. Simple and demonstrative.

And for those wondering, the OP's image comes from Randy Cunningham Ninth Grade Ninja (reverse image search is your friend). Why he thought that would be particularly well known is anyone's guess.

And, on a different note, that's a redlink despite us having an article on it. That should probably be fixed.

The page only exists in the WesternAnimation/ namespace, not Main/.

Also, the current shows the scarf, but it doesn't really show the asskicking as well as some of the suggestions.

I like 19, 5.2, and OP. All better than current by showing a dynamic asskicker character, all show the scarf as well as current, and aren't as ugly as Shinobi suggestions.

My only complaint about 19 is that you can't tell it's a scarf...it could be just something attached to his helmet from that angle. The others clearly show the scarf around the character's neck...favoring them over Joe because of that.

Since the desc points out Kamen Rider is pretty much the Trope Codifier, I figured I might include some suggestion.

I kinda like the action figure. It's also a rare choice for images.

The action figure is pretty cool; here◊ is a more dynamic pose. although the scarf isn't real fabric.
