Yeah, the text pulls all the weight there.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAlso caption:
I get that it's attempting to parody the MasterCard commercials, but this doesn't even really make sense to me.

Moon◊I think the image is as good as we can get for this trope (it's going to be tough to illustrate any way you cut it), but good lord that caption needs to go.
Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them.I see a problem with that picture.
If I didn't know who he was, how would I know that he was talking in third person? To someone who knows nothing, it would seem he was talking about someone else instead of himself.
Use the dialogue as a quote at the top of the page. Any difference? Nope.
How about the badge of a combat rescue officer◊?
Belief or disbelief rests with you.Agreed; it's as viable a reading of the badge's meaning as anything.
Clock is set. Anyone else for/against 7?
Sure. It works, though it's not very strong.
Check out my fanfiction!@7 gets my own badge of approval as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHow about this one?◊ The same badge, but colored with bigger letters. I'm not sure how it would look after shrinking, though; my picresize.com is bonkers at the moment.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Yeah, that is good as well.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI really like the colored version.
I like the colors, but hot damn are there noticeable issues; it looks like somebody took a smaller image, ran Sharpen on it, and then enlarged it to the size it is now, resulting in an image that's both blurry and has bad ringing problems.
Here's another version with colors, without artifacts, and is coincidentally also wiki-size.◊

Moon◊My main issue is that Pararescues are not "More Disposable". They are rescuers, and while they do put their lives on the line in this capacity, their job isn't to take the bullet for someone else, which is what the trope is.
Hell, in this respect, the Secret Services are actually a better example because their job is to take the bullet for people less disposable then them. (Though there's no image of Thomas Mc Carthy taking a bullet for Reagan. Well, there's pre and post bullet pictures).
EDIT: Even reading the trope, taking the bullet isn't even really what the trope is abou. Eitherway, the suggestion is people getting stuck on the trope's title and not its actual definition.

16 gets my in the absence of anything better.
I took a look at the page, and I'm going to have to agree with Cobra; the gist of the badge doesn't fit the trope. for me.
Anyone else for/against pulling the current? I'm leaning towards pulling, and definitely leaning toward cutting the caption.

16: from me as it is not what the trope is about and is therefore actually misleading.
Current also
