Hey guys. Recently, I created a YKTTW called "Yamato-Damashii", which basically means "Japanese Spirit". It can be defined as the Necessary Weasel that most forms of shonen employ, but read the article itself for more info.

The article is desperately need of examples and subversions/aversions, as well as comparisons to other things like American superheroes, Wuxia, and other fictional forms. I would encourage anyone who's available to contribute to it.

Thank you!

Was it a form of Patriotic Fervor? When I encountered the term, it was in Muv Luv.

Edit: Never mind.

[up][up] Yes, it's a type of Patriotic Fervor, but sculpted specifically for Japanese cultural nuances.
