When Shrek crashes Farquaad's tournament, the security guy freaks out and runs away from him...through the ridiculously long theme park zigzag line.

For me, the Shrek moment came during Fiona's rescue. Descending the stairs from her boudoir, Shrek and Fiona hear the dragon's roar. Fiona throws a princess-class hissy fit. "You didn't slay the dragon?" "It's on my to-do list. Now, let's go," replies Shrek, having no stomach for princessy rescuees.

That moment where that one character voiced by that one celebrity makes a pop culture joke.

While I could rant on the fact that this thread was only made to add fuel to a pointless fandom rivalry....The climax of Shrek 2 is one of my favorite animated momemnts, period.

All of Shrek 2. Just all of it.

The final battle of the first Kung Fu Panda. Just seeing the ultravillainous, badass motherfucker Tai Lung humiliated like that...

Prince Of Egypt. The Plagues is probably one of the greatest musical numbers I have ever heard/seen, and like Lionheart said, the splitting of the Red Sea...Just, amazing. The musical number with the Egyptian priests deserves special mention. It's a damn feast for the eyes.

Shrek 2: Shrek, Gingerbreadzilla, Aand company breaking into the castle, while Fairy God Mother sings fitting music.

While I'm not a huge fan of Madagascar (Though the spin off is great), every time Alex squares off with the old lady, it's guaranteed gold.

And the beginning of the final battle of Megamind. Presentation!

@Stratofarius: Grrr, rawr, hisssss.

The Prince Of Egypt

  • The scenes accompanying "Deliver Us", "Through Heaven's Light", "The Burning Bush", and "When You Believe".

Shrek

  • The Dance Party Ending. Yes it has become the Trope Codifier for all endings in animation now, but at that point, we had no idea it would. It stood for everything the film was, and encapsulated the story perfectly. Plus it put my father in non-stop laughter.
  • Shrek's quiet moment with Donkey under the moon, where he explains what problem he has. I like these breaks from the action where the characters express how they feel. It's also a bonding moment for the two.

Kung Fu Panda

Madagascar

  • Any penguin scene. ...this could apply to the next two films, too.

Madagascar 3

  • A circus performance in London. Animals. Florescent body paint. And Katy Perry. NUFF SAID.

Is it true that this scene was only in the home video version, or am I thinking of something else?

From Shrek The Third:

Arthur: The only thing stopping you... is you.

Random mook: Me?

Another random mook: Get him, lads.

-they almost start attacking him before they're stopped by Arthur-

The Metaphorgotten dialogue bit between Metroman and Megamind in Megamind.

[up][up]The Dance Party was in the Theatrical Version. What happened was it was so popular that they put an "extended version" in the home release.

It was in the theater too.

You may be thinking of the 5-minute dance party animated short they produced for the DVD.

Yeah, the "Karaoke in the Swamp"? So that wasn't the dance party? There was another dance party before the credits?

Also any scene basically from Mega Mind or Monsters Vs Aliens but particular Shout Outs for the former go to "Ollo", "Microwave of Evil" and "Presentation!.
