Darryl Xavier

"It certainly wasn't unlike you in the Battle of Camlann," Darryl remarked dryly. "You are aware of the reputation you have, right? You'll have to forgive me if I'm not feeling so eager to trust you."

Finally, the reality of things were beginning to sink in for Darryl. He had drawn a lot, and received what possibly the worst potential outcome. The most infamous and traitorous knight in history. Of all of King Arthur's court, it had to be Mordred. Even if he could trust her, this would still be, what did his professor like to call it? An openquotes "interesting and memorable learning experience" closedquotes.

Sasaki Kojirou

The man who was called Sasaki Kojirou lifted an eyebrow, not that his new Master could see it. "Musashi? The famous swordmaster?" He laughed a little. "I'm sorry, Bridget-sama, but that is strictly fabrication. Musashi and I never met. Although I would have certainly relished the opportunity to cross blades with him. His reputation was known all across Japan when I was alive. I worked as hard as I did because I dreamed of one day being a swordsman as great as him."

Circe

"I'm going to need at least three pounds each of every herb you can get your hand on locally. Also, nightshade is a must. So is datura, and mandrake. I don't care how you get your hands on those, but we need them. Everything else? Buy it in bulk if it's available. I'm sure the merchants around here still carry herbs and spices. Also, animal fat. We'll need some of that. Doesn't matter what kind, but pig is preferable. I always found it easier to work with..."

Circe listed off ingredients absent-mindedly. Magic was her strongest suit, but she was more than knowledgeable in rituals and potions as well. By the time she was done, her darling little vamp would be decked out with more magical enhancement than a moving fortress. Someone needed to handle the dirty up close and personal business, and it certainly was not going to be someone as elegant and refined as her.

Alexia Talsin - Garden

Alexia raised her right hand, stopping her servants before they leapt at Midas. It wouldn't have worked, anyways. Homunculi were nothing to Heroic Spirits, even in large numbers. Her smile never left her face as she explained.

"Necromancer? Though I have knowledge of the basics, I can assure you that I did not use such Magecraft in bringing you here. Nor have I used it in the creation of my beloved children." Her eyes softened as she looked upon her cadre, all dressed in dark suits like she was.

"No, they owe their lives to alchemy. From fine materials they were crafted, and in birth they were graced with consciousness like that of any other human. Do not look upon them unkindly, King Midas. Though their form is different, I will declare that they are beings of thought and conscience like you and I."

The six relaxed, happy at their master's reassuring words.

Her appraisal of her Servant was still limited, but it appeared he was much more moral than she expected. It was a welcome surprise. She would not have to worry about turning her back to him.

"Your willingness to speak out is quite appreciated. In the days to come, your advice will be needed as well as your strength."

She paused to give her Rider a chance to speak.

George(Washington)

"One of the seven Servant classes." Washington answered, "Rider—me—Saber, Lancer, Assassin, Berserker, Caster, and Archer. Their powers are self-explanatory, I'd think, but due to each class actually being summoned as the incarnation of a real person, each Spirit is different. Any other questions, Sir?"

George(Goldstein)

"Well, a rundown of your Noble Phantasms would be nice." George said, taking a sip of scotch. "I know your basic, like, legend, I just want to know how that ends up manifested."

Beowulf

"Not necessarily. Grendel certainly did not believe in such a rule, nor did his mother, or the dragon that eventually did me in." Beowulf explained. "Now that we have that settled, what now? Any immediate goals, Lord?"

Marty Barnes

Marty checked his watch, then motioned for the door. He strapped on his Glock, then headed out. "Just follow behind, Setne; we'll no doubt see other Masters trying to find sacrifices, so we can cut them down when that happens. The Church arrives in a few days' time, so we'll also need to scavenge supplies to help make the Abbey look nicer. You can tell me about your Phantasms on the way."

Johnathan

As the cross appeared, Johnathan could not help but smile. If this meant what he thought it meant, then this was going to work out just fine. From the cross came the knight who would fight alongside him as his Servant, and one could tell just from being around him that this knight was among the ranks of the finest in history.

Johnathan stepped forward to face his Servant, his voice clear as he spoke. "I am Johnathan Abbot, Executor for the Church and a humble sheep of the good Shepherd. Through the power of the Holy Grail, you who had already achieved the sacred object can now fight for it, with me as you Master." With that, his smile faded as his tone became much more serious. "But know this: There has been an event in the nearby city of Archwood that has caused a number of Dead Apostles to surface. As a representative participant of the Church, it is my duty, first and foremost, to eradicate any traces of the undead. With that said, I'm afraid the Holy Grail is mostly a secondary objective, our primary objective being the extirpation of all vampires in the area. Do you accept these terms, Sir Galahad?"

Viona — Careen City, Ruined Basement

"That would be, um." Viona started to think about the food but then Shamgar said something strange. "Shepherds? Well, I think in the outskirts of the city there are a few farms that produce wheat and meat but.. oh hey, that rhymed." she laughed to herself. "That was rather 'stale', I'm sorry." she made another pun without even realizing that she had. "You're hungry though, right? I live up stairs in a run down apartment. My career doesn't exactly... give me a lot of money to work with."

Jeanne — Grassy Hills

"I feel incomplete as the Servant of Ruler. I feel that I should be the shepherd to the flock of sheep. Absolute authority over the war. I feel that has been taken from me since the very beginning." Jeanne looked out over the city of Careen. "If I had that, the disaster of Archwood could have been averted and those innocent lives saved." in reality, Jeanne knew that she couldn't do anything about it. Their lives were gone.

That's a sin that will bear on her forever. Though maybe she shouldn't blame herself. What has happened has happened for a reason. Is it part of His plan?...

I pray that you give me the answers I seek, Lord.

The Maid of Orleans turned her sights on Assassin. "Can you tell me the whereabouts of Aaron Skyfield? I believe that he is the first we need to take initiative on." she looked to her partner, Diomedes. "Will you be alright with this?"

Mordred

"Tch." Mordred grit her teeth at her Master's comment. Right, it wasn't unlike her. She had right to take back England. Her father's rule was a mistake. A terrible mistake. "I'm aware of my reputation, you fool. What makes you think I'm not?"

No more trying to hide it.

Wait, why hide it to begin with? There is no reason to mask her true face. This was nothing like it was in life. No more wearing that helmet. No more concealing herself to the outside world.

"If you do not trust me then I will not aid you. Is that what you would like?" Mordred smiled cruelly.

Bridget Brunhild

"So... you just looked up to him? Like a fan or something?" Bridget really meant someone aspiring to be as great as him but she couldn't form the words.

Hanuel Zhang

"There are none. I want to simply watch the city until night fall. That's the best time to avoid casualties in this Holy Grail War, is it not?"

Felicia Weinberg

Felicia actually had no idea how she had managed to get out of that damn house. The raven-haired teen was still slightly in shock over what had transpired, and was unsure how to proceed. Erin had immediately taken the girl under her wing, so to speak, and taken care of the relocation away from Archewood.

The teen had still barely spoken, however, her natural shyness amplified to the extent that she was almost completely mute for the first few days. After about a week she got back to her more-or-less normal speech pattern, but she still wasn't sure how much of the incident she should tell her Servant about.

Felicia sighed, leaning back on a couch in the apartment and closing her eyes. This was ridiculous, she knew—there was a War going on!—but especially now, she couldn't do anything.

Yuna Breten

Yuna sighed, glancing over at her Servant. While she supposed she was glad that nothing bad had happened to either her or Saber/Nero, she couldn't quite deny that she was still feeling rather useless.

"Any ideas, Saber?" she asked, for what felt like the thousandth time.

Mirai Kinomoto

Mirai had had an interesting few days. Rider—Alexander the Great—was much more enthusiastic than the bookworm was used to, but she couldn't say she didn't appreciate the older...person? Man? Being? At any rate, she was content to let him plan his engagements as he wanted to. It's not like she could claim to know what she was doing.

I hope this doesn't contradict anything from the previous thread. I had to Hand Wave Felicia getting out of Jesse's house, but...

Darryl Xavier

Something snapped in Darryl just then. As much as he'd been trying to be patient, he'd been loath to trust her from the beginning. And now here she was, provoking him to his face! Well, if she wanted it, she could have it.

"I thought it wasn't like a knight to deny help to those in need," Darryl said mockingly. "Or did you forget about that part of knighthood too?"

Sasaki Kojirou

"I don't know if fan is quite the right word. I admired him yes, but my dream was to become a swordsman who could defeat him, not to become him myself. It wasn't Musashi I admired so much as the ideal he represented."

Kojirou sighed, as if reliving a happy memory. "As it is, I'm just a forgotten memory given the name Kojirou as a reward for my talent with the sword. History remembered Musashi, but I was forgotten, so I've lost the right to even my proper name. All that remains of me is the record of my skills." Kojirou said this, but there was not a hint of sadness in his voice. Rather he sounded... content. As if at ease with his fate.

Diomedes, King of Argos

"I am not sure that should be a primary target," said Diomedes. "We do not know his capabilities, yes, but I know him. He will not act overtly. He is not the man that will cause another mass killing. Even if he is a Dead Apostle, he'll work in the shadows. He is a pragmatic man. We cannot be sure that others won't break the peace."

Diomedes swallowed. "If we meet him at night though, we should certainly eliminate him if we can."

Florina Winester - Hotel Room - Careen City

Moving over to her own bed, Florina began to pack up her things. "It is not likely that we are the only ones to survive. Maybe not even the only ones to have fled to this city." She paused to let her words sink in as she gave a glance over of the map she had laid out on her bed. "Our first order of business then would be to seek out the Overseer as others will probably gather towards her. I'll figure out the rest after we have done that."

Iskandar — With Mirai, Lots and Lots of Maps

"Hmmmmm." the giant of a man stroked his beard. There were maps thrown about. Maps of America. Of Canada. Of South America. An ambition that spurred the man on was to conquer the hearts of the people.

To conquer their hearts was to conquer the country. They would respect him as he respected them. It was a kind cycle.

It was a beautiful dream and that's why he continued to strive for it.

Though currently he could only plan.

Nero — With Yuna

"Praetor, even though I have an outstanding patience, even that question is beginning to wane on my nerves." said Nero. She said it in a way that sounded nice. The girl didn't want to be offensive to her truly kind Master but anyone with any sense WOULD GET TIRED OF HEARING THAT. "Hmm... I believe we should continue to lay low for the time being. It's been two weeks and nothing has seemed to have changed for the better. Your thoughts, Praetor?" Nero knew what her Master was going to say.

Mordred

Now Darryl wanted to talk chivalry to her? Fine then, she was more than willing to play this game. "I was known as the perfect knight for a reason so no, I didn't forget." she stared daggers at her Master. "I suppose... you're right."

Mordred simply shrugged.

"I should devote my unfailing loyalty to you, Master." her voice was completely sarcastic.

Bridget Brunhild

"So you're not really a person? That's... kind of sad." said Bridget as she started to feel around the floor for Sasaki's hand.

"That's really sad."

Sherly Mako- Careen City, Lower East Side, Apartment Number F32

Sherly practically stared at her servant. Seemed like this one was one of few words. She gave a small frown as she looked more at the person, observing her closely. She really was so curious about her. Maybe she should ask more about this woman? If she would even tell her anything. At the rate they were going Sherly was expecting tumbleweeds to start popping up and rolling across her bedroom. “So uh.. may I ask you a question or two. If you don't mind. Uhm, who or what are you? You don't exactly look human.” Sherly wasn't trying to push anything with her servant, if she didn't want to answer right now, that was okay.

“ Oh, by the way, can I get you anything? Food? Water? Power outlets for some things? Anything at all don't hesitate to ask.” she gave a soft smile to her servant, also taking a quick look around to see if anything was damaged.

Hatshepsut- Archwood, Burt's Apartment

Hatshepsut listened to his every word, soaking in as much information a she could. She was tactical and she wanted the best advantage for the both of them. He didn't know much information about the Grail Wars, but at least he wasn't completely oblivious. He knew what he was getting into and for now that is all that mattered to her for now. “ The Holy Grail war is, in short, a battle royale that sets magus like yourself up with epic spirits, myself, in order to win. Simple? All you need to know is that it is very dangerous. My soul purpose is to look after you so you do not die and we win. We are not the only Master or Servants out there. Since you are a wrestler, I will give you a word of advice, do not take up a servant head on. Leave that to me. The easiest way to win is by killing the master, which sadly you are.”

She looked up at him and seemed to raise an eyebrow. “ Time travel? By the gods no, you did not just pluck me from my bed or me during mid speech to my people. But yes I was a Pharaoh.” She seemed to cross her arm and grip her robes when he mentioned that Pharaohs were only men. “ That is a common misconception, but a forgivable one. There were women who ruled like me. However, I was Pharaoh. I wasn't a Queen, I wasn't a Regency, I was Pharaoh. To call me anything less would be insulting to my pride and legacy. Wouldn't you agree?” The more she talked about her legacy, the more she seemed to sit up straight and talk with a serious tone. Her own chest swelling a bit with her own pride. She seemed defensive about it to. Being called Pharaoh.

Yuna Breten

Yuna winced slightly at her Servant's tone—she wasn't imperceptive by any means, just...well, lost. But her Servant knew that already.

She sighed, running a hand through her hair.

"...Honestly, at this point, Saber? You might be better off with a different Master. By now, laying low is the only thing I seem to be able to do effectively, and that's boring as hell. If you want to go off and do your own thing, or find someone else...you deserve to fight for your wish."

Mirai

Mirai smiled slightly, peering at the maps around Iskander.

"Planning world conquest already, sir? I'm not sure anyone wants us to get out of the city."

Sofia's apartment

As the Sofia had hoped, her summoning ritual had been conducted without any problems; save for the shining white light and the bolts of ethereal energy wildly shooting from the circle's center before abruptly fading away and leaving behind a knight smack dab in the center of the circle. Who is currently sitting on a spiky canoe and showed body language that screamed confusion and disappointment.

"I have a body? Wonderful."

Unfortunately for Sofia, the knight was not clad in flawless, shiny plate armor nor carried a colorful shield with heraldic symbols proudly emblazoned on it. Instead, the knight's mail armor and helmet was rusted, beaten and filthy; the crimson tunic he wore over the mail even crustier and was closer to the color brown due to it not having been washed since... ever and finally his kite shield, which was riddled with scratches, pockmarks and had half a javelin driven right through it. As if to add insult to injury; the Knight then spoke to her in a very rude and dismissive tone.

"Woman, are you my master? If so, lead me to the nearest tavern; I require a hard beverage after centuries of being incorporeal."

Prince Manor

It is then that Fionn had gotten a good look at the two masters that had summoned him, both of their faces were familiar; but for all the wrong reasons.

Do the gods mock me?! The ones who have summoned me look exactly like my darling Grainne and... And...

Extremely uncharacteristic of such a mighty hero, Fionn takes a moment to look away from the both of them in order to collect himself... For all of a split second before the greatest hero of Ireland goes all out on the machismo and testosterone in order to balance out that tiny moment of weakness by marching up to Sean like an angry Gorilla and doing something that is both parts manly and questionably sane.

"Yooooooouuuu... Diarmuid Ua Duibhne!!!"

Fionn, possessing both A-rank agility and B-rank strength; meant that Sean had less than a snowball's chance in hell to avoid getting grabbed by the collar of his shirt and lifted a good foot off the ground by the currently unstable Servant.

"You have a lotta nerve coming back to life and to be with my darling Grainne!"

Speaking of the Perfect Knight...

Galahad listened to Johnathan's words with growing alarm. Not only were the dead being called forth by heretical magi, but a false Grail and even abominable vampires were involved?! No, he cannot, he will not stand idly by. He was a Knight, and he had a duty to fulfill.

"....Very well, Brother Johnathan, I shall help you in your mission. I too wish to see the eradication of those wretched vampires, and will do anything in my power to achieve that."

He held out his hand to Johnathan. "But know this. You are not my Master. My only Master is the Lord."

Mike, Jonesville!

Sheriff Mike let out a howl of laughter, taking off the cowboy hat that he had taken to wearing.

"Is that right?! Another War, you say?! That's awesome!"

"But I can't just leave the good people of Jonesville! They need me! Hmmmmmm, who can I ask for advice? I know! Georgie!"

And then Mike pulled something from behind his throne. It was, in simple terms, a human head on a sharp stick. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeah.

Not only that, it was the head of the former Archwood chief of police, his dead face splattered with makeup, his decaying lips painted with lipstick, and a pink ribbon in his beard. Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

"So, Georgie? What do you say?"

"What's that, Georgie? You want me to go?! Leave the town to Deputy Batman, you say?" Deputy Batman was, of course, the Assassin.

"Thanks, Georgie! You always give great advice!"

Then Mike grinned at Rider. "Hear that, Superman? We're going to war again!"

Setne, with Marty

He followed his new boss, a big grin on his face.

"You asking what I can do? Hah! Not to brag or anything, but I'm awesome! My familliars are the best, they can do anything! I'm a mummy, so I'm very hard to kill! Of course, there's the book of Thoth. Stole it from the guy himself, some god of knowledge he was! It greatly boosts my spells, and sometimes, I can even see the future! Also, I have smashing good looks! But you know that already!"

Frankenstein's Monster — Careen City, Lower East Side, Apartment Number F32

The Servant didn't move a muscle. Frankenstein's Monster stood there in the middle of the room. If it was a normal person you would think they were deep in thought. The Servant, however, just stared into space from under the cover of her majenta hair.

"Not... important." the words were unfeeling.

Nero — With Yuna

Nero lowered her head. "Praetor—" she bit her lip.

"—how many times must I say it?" Yuna continued to put herself down regardless of the red Saber's protest. It made her stomach tie in a knot. It disgusted her. "Stop speaking such nonsense. I was summoned by Yuna Breten and Yuna Breten alone. My sword is yours until the day I— no, it shall be yours even after I pass, even after this Grail War, Yuna." Nero placed her hand onto Yuna's own.

"Please, believe that, Praetor. Until that day comes, the day I vanish, I am your sword."

Mordred

She completely ignored the comment about Galahad. "Do you even know WHY I did it?" Mordred's patience wore thin. "I don't expect someone like you to understand."

Betraying her father for the sake of the country.

For her own ideals.

Just as Arturia fought for her own ideals. Really, were the two of them so different?

Yes. They were totally different in Mordred's eyes. That is why she felt no regret.

Subconciously Mordred tightened her fist. If she put anymore strength into it, her palms could start to drip blood. "If you want more reasons why I will protect you other than my word, I don't want you to waste a single Command Seal on something so worthless. I will do what I can to protect you, Darryl." after a deep breath, the normal conversation resumed. The thought of hoisting Darryl into the air by his throat passed by her mind but Mordred threw it away. Not the time nor the place.

Bridget Brunhild

"Are you sure about that?'

Jeanne

"I will follow your advice, Diomedes." Jeanne said as she got comfortable in her seat again. She slouched back like she used to do in the pews of the old Archwood Church. "Isn't it strange, Diomedes, Assassin?" she started another conversation.

"Two Grails linked to one another." wait, how did she know that?

Right.

The power of Revelation. The voices that spoke to her in life help her even now. "It can only cause calamity." the closed her eyes, her head falling to the ground.

Sofia Kellerman- Careen City, Apartment Room Number G3

Sofia could feel the excitement as watched in wonder at the spectacle in front of her. It just felt like she was summoning the most powerful servant imaginable. Her smile, however, faded when she saw the state of her servant. Knights were suppose to have pride and aren't they usually clean? Was he even a knight? She hardly recognized him. Her mind races through history books, old stories, anything to try and pinpoint just who the heck this guy was. A knight with a weird looking canoe... that maybe hard to hide now that she thought of it. She seemed to frown at the knight as her efforts of trying to search her memory banks came up fruitless. But the moment he spoke to her in that tone, the room seemed to have gone about twenty degrees colder.

“Vhas?! Voman?! I've been degraded to voman?!” she asked, crossing her arms over her chest. Oh there was that German accent. It always tended to be rather thick when she was angry. The problem was when she dropped it and spoke in perfect English. That is when you had to be afraid. For a moment she had to check her person. Make sure she really was this knight's master. A command seal was placed on her left arm and she only sighed when she saw it. It had to be a message or something. Great, she probably received a rude, lazy knight.

“ My name is Sofia Kellerman, und I vouldn't mind a bit of respect, ja?” She honestly was not going to force him to have respect. They were suppose to work together, not argue every step of the way. “ Und there is no near by tavern that I know of. I do have some German beer in the closet. I don't drink any of it so you are free to have it all.”

Sherly Mako- Careen City, Lower East Side, Apartment Number F32

Sherly only seemed to frown at the servant. So much for trying to learn a bit about her. Her apartment didn't seem to suffer any damage than a few burn marks on the floor. Well, for the most part, it was time to clean up. If not a little bit, Sherly wasn't normally that clean to begin with. She only gave a smile to her servant and went over to her bed, trying to yank it back into place. “ Well, do you have a name? Something that you would like to be called? I can't just walk around saying 'Hey you', could I?” She chuckled nervously. Sherly started to look at the servant herself a bit more. Maybe a visual clue or something could help her decipher who was standing in her bedroom.

The Canoe-riding knight stroked his chin at his master's strange accent that vaguely reminded him of the Saxons, Oh how he loathed them so along with their equally insufferable allies the Angles and the Jutes; since they had the gall to not only invade the rightful lands of king Arthur, but also to attack him and his canoe while they just happened to come across a battle without any intention to get involved! But his distaste soon faded when she said that he had her permission to partake in her stores of beer.

"Beer? A small start, but better than naught."

The Knight then gets off the canoe and then walks towards the cabinet in a surprisingly quiet and natural manner despite wearing what seems to be more than 40 pounds of encumbrance before taking a bottle and popping the cap off with a casual flick of the thumb.

"Sofia was it? Since you had given me your name, I must now return the favor."

The Knight lifts his helmet up in order to take a drink of the liquid gold, downing more than half of the bottle in one gulp.

"Surprisingly strong beer. I am Sir Sagramore the 'desirous', Knight of the round."

He then finishes the bottle before slamming it on a nearby table.

"Words of wisdom, my canoe is not to be touched without due permission from it's owner. Me."

Darryl Xavier

Well this was unexpected. Darryl stalled, unsure what to do next. All of a sudden, he felt guilty. Had he judged her prematurely after all? Or was this just a ploy to earn his trust? If he believed her, he could be leaving himself wide open for an inopportune backstabbing. He'd certainly given her reason to dislike him already (smooth). On the other hand, if he was wrong and scorned her unjustly, he would be creating a layer of animosity between the two of them that would last the whole Grail War, which was equally liable to blow up in his face. Either way, he was taking a huge risk...

"Gaaaahhhhhh! This is getting us nowhere!" He smacked himself with his palm again, sighing. A curious habit of the modern man. "Look, I'm sorry if I was too quick to judge. This is just a little surprising for me, okay? I wasn't expecting to summon you in the first place, and I panicked a little. And then to find out you're a girl on top of all that... It's a bit much." Yes, he was taking a risk either way. So if he was damned if he did and damned if he didn't, he'd rather do what he felt was right, and momma didn't raise no boy who talked like that to women.

"We got off on the wrong foot. Let's just say it's both our faults and move on, okay?" He held out his hand apologetically, hoping she'd return the favor.

Circe

Circe considered the offer. "Some clothes, perhaps?"

Sasaki Kojirou

The question caught Sasaki off guard. Was he sure?

"Yes. I am quite sure." He said that to reassure her, but in truth, the question bothered him. No one had ever asked it before, and neither had he.

So don't start now, he though to himself, and dismissed the notion.

Sofia Kellerman- Careen City, Apartment Room Number G3

Sofia raised an eyebrow. A knight of the round table? Him? Well, maybe her luck was changing after all. Most people knew of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table. He had to have good prowess with his sword. Sofia searched her memory banks once again for that name. After a few seconds she nodded. “ Ja.. That name sounds familiar. Tales of your successful campaigns und stories of how you single handedly rescue damsels in distress. Ja.. I know of you.” She watched him finish the bottle rather quickly and she blinked in surprise.

“ Did you even taste the beer? Vell, never mind. Like I said, I don't drink any of it. It is all yours for all I care. That is mainly there for vhenever my father visits me.” She glanced over the canoe as he mentioned it. It was rather cumbersome and is a awkward edition to her apartment now. But, he seemed fond of it. “ You seem rather fond of that canoe. It also seems rather cumbersome to carry around, but I vill not touch it. Since ve are laying down some ground rules, my only thing I vill ask of you is to not bother my bird. He is an old friend und it is a bit of a pain to stitch him back together should something fall of again.”

The green parakeet in the corner only responded with a coo, poking his head out of his food tray. He must have fled there when the light show started. Upon closer inspection, the parakeet's feathers were a slight mess, and the bird looked awfully thin. The creepy part was its eyes seemed glazed over.. was it even alive anymore?

The Knight of the round mostly ignored the parts regarding him leading men and saving women, seeing as how he was forced into them by the other knights. But when Sofia started talking about his canoe, a response finally came.

"Of course I am fond of it. It was the only companion in my journey throughout Europe as it has served me well as a transport, a tent and as a shield."

Sagramore turned over to look at the bird that his master had told him about. To be honest, the sight of the creature slightly disturbed him since for all intents and purposes; the parakeet was clearly an ex-parakeet that had been brought into unlife through the use of magic, Necromancy to be precise. But if Sofia were to respect his canoe's personal space; there would be no backtalk from Sir Sagramore, but alas...

"It is quite... The charming specimen, for a taxidermist a particularly morbid one at that. Say, what if normal people were to visit your home? They would most certainly point at your pet with fingers quaking fear whilst spouting accusations of you being some sort of witch. And since you seem to be quite familiar with history, I need not tell you what becomes of witches caught plying their craft."

Diomedes, King of Argos

The Achaean King quickly caught the girl before she hit the ground. He launched a quick glare towards Assassin, but when the Servant didn't move, he changed his attention to the girl in his arms.

"Jeanne, are you ok?" he asked, only a bit frantically. "Jeanne?"

Aaron Skyfield

"Clothes?" he repeated. "If that's what you want, I suppose I can buy some. However, you'll have to come with me for that. There's no way I'll buy women's clothes alone."

Robert the Bruce - The Ambassador Hotel, 21st floor

As the light of the summoning spell dissipated it revealed a relatively tall dark haired man clad in dark blue plate armour linked together by a dark red leather, he turned cold green eyes to the mage and took him in impassively before asking in an almost bored tone.

"I ask you, are you my Master?"

Galatea IV - Park Grounds

Galatea took in the quiet of the park around her and was thankful that it was empty, the summoning circle laid out in front of her was far larger than was normal in order to engulf as many of the trees around her. She didn't have the prana reserves to perform the summoning herself, she would sacrifice the life around her in order to do so. In the center of the circle lay the catalyst, the only thing her (father) bothered to supply her with, a shard of an epee once wielded by a famous swordswoman.

Now lets get started...

With that she activated the spell, the intersecting runes glowing with a crimson light as the trees and grass withered around her, their life being drained and transformed into prana to power the spell.

Midas - Garden
"My apoligies for the confusion, my lady," Midas said, "I am not skilled in these arts, and allowed my fears to guide my words. I was concerned that I would have to serve one who destroys rather than creates. Now, I seem to be at a disadvantage, as you know who I am, and yet I've not even gotten to know your name. Calling you master throughout this whole event will grow tiresome."

Boris - De La Mancha, House
"I see, I see," Borris said. Flipping through the book to the page on 'Rider'. Then he decided, well, there was no reason to worry about using his eyes on it in front of George, and now that he knew this thing was the real deal and not just some joke, he analyzed the pages. "Now I see. So... you are a rider, then. How fitting. What can you do, Mister President? And would you like something to eat? Do you like Chinese food? I can have Golden Dragon here in twenty-five minutes."
Oedipus - Near the Archwood Blast Crater, Magic Show
"Well, there's this thing," Oedipus said, a large wooden stick appearing in his hand. He made a play swing with it, much like how a child would imitate a baseball player. "Anyone riding a chariot better look out! And speaking of, I also have a chariot, but I don't think it'd be much good in a fight. That's the boring stuff, anyway. Really, having to depend on anything other than your own wits is the greatest crutch there is! I'm sure as a conjurer, you understand the power of the mind is the most important thing when facing a foe. To be able to ignore the differences, stare down the impossible, challenge the gods, and come out ahead. That is my strength. You are talking to the man who answered the riddle of the Sphinx, after all."

He stopped walking. "Oh, right.... I forgot about her."

Samson - Careen City, Ruined Basement
"No, this vessel cannot hunger, and I am not so needy as to put my... master... out of her earnings," Samson said. The term was incredibly awkward to say, but he supposed that it was merely a result of this strange language he was using, and how the words were so imprecise. "But if we are to eat something befitting a hero's return, I shall have to get it myself. Where do the deer gather?"
Burt - Archwood, Apartment
"Sorry!" Burt said, "I didn't mean anything by it, I'm just not that good on history. But don't worry, if a fight breaks out, I know how to handle myself. I'll make sure they don't lay a finger on ya. Since it looks like we're together for this, you and I are on the same tag team - and I'm not one of those heels who'll abandon his partner in a fight!"
