The mariglenian continent...a massive land featuring many cities and places of power. A land in which sentient gummi bears, 1920s gangsters, dark wizards and the full might of a machine empire co exists in more or less harmony. A land which for the past 500 years has believed itself to be alone in this strange world called Aerith...

That is all about to change....

Welcome to the Legends of Aerith an rp in which you control your heroes as they discover that new neighbours could mean good or ill...

some rules more will be added

• Your character must be an original character. If you want him or her to be an expy of someone else feel free to do so as long as its thinly veiled

• power class is 2...we have gods in this game and they are dicks...we don't need anymore.

• Your character must start off in one of the mariglenian cities shown in the map above...descriptions of these cities are coming. as soon as the rp opens up and we meet "the neighbours" you may create another character from that perticular place.

• The gms words are law....final say goes to them

The lands within Mariglenian continent

Arkenea: Most should know this one but for those who likely don't Arkenea is the traditional final fantasy/jrpg kind of city. It is bustling and thriving with much of the continents trading going on here. It is also the home base of the church of the magical girls. It is currently ruled by king Nikolai and queen Eugenia.

Amethyst: Sister city to Arkenea. Its underground and all its residents work to mine precious minerals both magical and non magical. Current leader is princess Garnet which her father recovers from a heart attack

Machinis: The closest the Mariglenian continent has to a modern city. technology exists here and its close to the current day city of london. It is the major living place for the machine kind race and home to the church of HELGHAN. The current ruler is Direcktor Ghast and his daughter Christiana

Pleasure capital ventris: Welcome to the place where lives are on the line but the stakes are high. Resembling a blending of Las vegas and the roaring twenties gambling is the name of the game and if you want booze and hookers then its all good...after all what happens in ventris stays there capiche? current capo of the crime family is Lupa cruz...but you best not mess wit her or you'll get rubbed...

The learning city of Alexandria: close neighbours to ventris to their chagrin this quiet studious place is home to the learned and more traditional mages of the continent. Their libraries are vast and the information contained is numourous. The head librarian is Scales libra.

Sugarria: what happened if candy land got militant...this happy little place is home to all the food you can eat...but try to touch the candy cottages and the chocolate rivers and god help you...the current custodian of this sweet kingdom is Vanilla cruger.

Jelliana: sugarrias smaller sister city. Home to the gummi kind and the sentiant animals. They live together happily in a city made of gummi products and other confectionary. The current leaders are Cheif gummant of the gummis and Vanguard of the pegasei. (waoaa note not that one...an expy)

Winterhorn mountain: Once upon the time home to the dragons but after most of them left it became a popular ski resort and also the home to the dragon kind. Rumours about of zombies and other supernatural beings...those are just rumours though...

Atlantica: ....fishman island from one piece....yep...totally that...

Darkovia: Velcome my friends...the dark avaits you here. It may be gloomy here but we love it. Those of sinister character make their deals here. Also home to the supernatural and the strange...don't worry...we don't bit much....

Squaria: CLASSIFIED INFO...THERE IS NO SKY ISLAND...DO NOT NOTICE THE HUGE FLOATING LAND MASS IN THE SKY...WE DON'T WANT YOU HERE...

As shiny is currently in bed, I can answer questions for him, considering I spent most of the planing time with him. If any one has any.

I'm intriuged, but what is the tone and mood of the RP?

Hi Imca! So, what exactly will the characters be doing? Also, what're the rules on character creation?

Well, I think the tone is going to stay Releitivly Neutral, I don't exactly know my self, that was not something we discussed much, but considering how he normally handles Arcanea, for the most part I am expecting normal.

But when it comes to the royal family, or actual problems things will probaly fall though.

Agian, that is for shiny, but considering we plan on covering all of Areith here, different countries will probably have different tones, for example the one I am going to handle~ Thanks by the way shiny~ Is essentially a nothren desert, take a desert... and make it cold.... then instead of sand made of ground rocks, it is chips of metal.... now apply dungeon punk.

So over all, I am going to say neutral, but variable... I would not expect any thing as dark as the current plot in Room though.

@ Random : From what I understand we are going to be exploring, I don't exactly know the first plot, that is probably something shiny is going to handle AFTER he sees the characters, but.... we will probaly be comparable to Marco Polo, Ponce De Leon... and people like that.

The limits on character creation are simply, we would like OC's they can be based on characters in media, the serial numbers need to be filed off though.

And the power level thing, is caped at 2, basically mages are as strong as we really want, no offence but it gets MUCH harder to right plots when the power level gets high, We had a problem with that in WAOAA when one villian basicly had most of existance at his control, and had to be cosmic retconed out of existance, and the whole RP reset...

It was as bad as it sounds. :c

I am going to guess probaly You All Meet in an Inn? This is the perfect setting to apply that to. XD

I am rather interested, but I am going to have surgery tomorrow. I might be laid up for a while, but I'll give it the old college try to be here.

I do not presently have a character, but I too would like to reserve a space to be in this RP, if possible.
