Antiport it. Even though in the suggestion the geometry looks incidental, the current is Just A Geometric Symbol And A Caption.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhat part is unclear?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMost of it? Everything before the "the current is"
What is "The in the suggestion" ? What does molecule transport have to do with it?
Fixed the typo.
Antiport is a bad injoke to say "switch the image", just like an antiporter exchanges molecules.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAaaah, now it makes sense.
I wouldn't say the symbols are incidental (He's clearly tracing them with his finger) and the pattern repeats itself on his clothes, but frankly, any suggestion beats the current.

I'm a bit biased against Dungeons And Dragons images since they seem to be too widespread.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerI like the yellow one.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI vote for switching it. It's more obviously magical.
Reaction Image RepositoryIf I had to pick an FMA image, I'd pick the yellow one, since the blue one frames the symbol less well, so much at an angle you can't really see it.
To be exact, I prefer the yellow one because the magic and geometry look more like they have anything to do with each other than the blue one.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like 1. It speaks to me, for some reason.
Check out my fanfiction!8.1 or 14.4, so it's obvious someone's doing something magical, rather than just a kewl spirograph doodle.
I actually prefer the OP. It shows someone actually making the symbols, as opposed to the FMA examples, most of which are just the same designs as the current, just glowy. He's also much more clearly a magic user, unlike the FMA examples that show Ed and Al, where they're just kids.
Geometric Magic isn't about magic making geometry, but more about magic coming from geometry.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI agree with
The OP is a better image because we see the person using geometry. While the FMA stuff makes the glowy thing appear incidental. A side effect of the thing.
The fact the wizard looks pensive, and is drawing the graphs makes it more clear he's actually doing geometry to use magic.
TO paraphrase the FMA images make it look like magic causes geometry to appear. While the OP makes it look like someone uses geometry to make magic.

I do not feel the hand position supports the idea that the OP is drawing things.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHis fingertips at exactly where one of the line ends, and follow the angle where that line was drawn. What does it look like he's doing to you? Do the two kids look like they are drawing the symbols any more than the OP image does?
Seen many magic coming out of fingers. And to wiz, the FMA ones are glowy geometrics - for me that carries a stronger geometry —> magic sign.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanBut the FMA images look no different than the image Instant Runes. Ergo why I prefer the OP. Also most of the FMA images, except for the yellow colored one of the initial batch (Best FMA image) include clearly non geometric shapes. Like the male symbol, the letter omega, and various rune-ish designs. Making them more like Instant Runes.
If we go for FMA, my vote is 8.1

With Instant Runes, I get mostly "a sudden appearance of a geometric symbol".
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanOP > 8.1 > 14.4 > everything else.
Crown Description:
Nominations for replacement images:
Finding the image Geometric Magic to be kind of lacking. The caption goes "Trust us, it's important". The image itself could do better to show the magic aspect too.
I offer as a suggestion the Geometer from Dungeons And Dragons
