Well, there you have it...Steven's self-doubt caused him to lose his healing powers all because of Greg's well intentioned actions leading to negative consequences in his own son's growth as a half-rock...half-human thing.

I brought up the plant powers because it shows that Rose's powers can work on organic matter if for whatever reasons her healing wouldn't, not because I thought she couldn't already heal humans.

Daily Sexist Trope that SU Destroys #4

It's likely not just me but, is it wrong that I wanna see more of Jasper? I kinda like her and I feel like she could be an interesting character(Then again, just about everyone in the show is, really).

That's definitely something I picked up on while watching the show, and something I absolutely adored about it.

On a completely different note, does anyone else find it really funny that Steven seems to be the only character in the entire show who actually likes or understands Crying Breakfast Friends? Just something about it, his enthusiasm for it when nobody else (even Amethyst, who's usually into this kind of thing) can even wrap their head around it.

The presumed analogy to the reactions of most adults or peers or such you try to get into newer media or cartoons or junk is probably my favorite part about it. Especially when the last time it appears, it's a hefty lampshade about the show itself.

Given where "Alone At Sea" is placed, and the two blank spots after, I think it won't be too long at most before she and Lapis show up again. I'm not exactly sympathetic to her condition, I've even seen more than a few paint Lapis Lazuli as the abusive one, but I can see why some might be.

That's not to say Lapis is entirely a saint either she probably had straight up revenge as a factor or the fusion would have broken by now. But as far as intentions go, LL is much easier to pity.

She flat out said it was because of revenge.

I won't mind seeing Jasper again so long as we don't go down the "turning over a new leaf" thing so many people want to do. I've already gone over that though.

Greg's reaction is probably the one that makes me laugh the hardest: "I must be getting old, I used to like cartoons."

Well only the Gems and Greg ever really say anything about it...it's typical things, Greg as an adult just sees it as a new age cartoon and unless Steven asks...the Gems don't really watch TV anyway.

Amethyst does just says it like it is for all of them, it's just a show about characters crying and who wants to watch that.

If they made a blanket with her on it, I'd shell out the 50 bucks.

While we're on the topic of SU-related somewhat-unrealistic fan dreams, I would throw all my money at Widdly 2 Diddly doing some sort of musical contribution to SU, if even in another spin-off game like Attack The Light. Something about his music from Lisa The Painful/Joyful just demands they intertwine, I swear.

An interesting review of Renaldo's character.

SU dlc would be pretty cool, though their mostly cartoonish shapes would make it hard to get them in stuff like Tekken or MK. Pearl or Connie, maybe.

Virt or Anamanaguchi could write some awesome guest tracks for the show.
