That picture from "Kevin Party" makes me think of that bit from the art book where it's mentioned that Steven and Connie's faces are supposed to fit together like a puzzle, actually.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢They are South America and Africa!
This is most likely something people has guessed before, but I predict that Lapis will return precisely when the Diamonds attack Earth because she realizes she can't leave her friends to die and all that jazz. It's also very likely that when she returns and "reunites" with Peridot, the two will become a fusion.
(And wow do people have pretty fanarts of what their fusion might look like. This◊ is probably my favorite.)
I also really want to see how the fusion between her and Garnet would have looked like. XD

Steven's poster for Lion said he was "old???", pointing out that we don't know how long ago he was born or turned pink. Considering Rose brought him back to life, he has to be older than Steven, and 14 is pretty old for a lion.
If he's biologically elderly is less clear. Male lions usually start getting weak after 10, die of accumulated injuries in the wild by 14, and can live in captivity up to about 20. Lion is quite fit, so one could assume the magic slowed his aging, but not necessarily: His intelligence, docility, and lack of a need to hunt could keep him from getting injured, giving him a lifespan closer to 20. Plus, it's possible Rose's power keeps him strong in spite of advance aging, and he used to be even stronger. And there's always the chance he's well over twenty years old naturally, not because of magic.
So being resurrected probably—but not definitely—improved Lion's lifespan.
Storyboards for a longer version of a scene in "Dewey Wins".
Wonder if the magic also made a lion into such a cuddly kitten.
This◊ is a really cool design for a Garnet/Peridot fusion. Kinda wish the creators would use it. :O
Curios, but what are some of the fusions people here are looking forward to see? I'm really curios to a Garnet/Steven fusion. Considering the two sort of have a mother-son relationship, their fusion will probably happen in a moment of particular familial love like it did with Amethyst.
I think it would be a fun twist that instead of fusing directly with Garnet, Steven ends up fusing with Ruby and Sapphire instead. The result will be the same, yes, but it might be more unexpected if we have a moment of the three, for example, sharing a group hug, when bam! Steven fuses with them. It'd also be funny if afterwards, Steven is all "Sorry for imposing on your relationship!" and Garnet has to assure him it's fine. xD A fusion between Steven and Peridot would also be both heartwarming and hilarious to see.

I'm hoping for a shorty squad fusion,Steve + Amethyst + Peridot
New theme music also a boxI don't hope for specific new fusions, just that they're set up as well as they've been so far.
Steven fused with Amethyst mostly because they saw each other as peers and didn't really keep any secrets from each other. Maybe there'll be a Steven+Pearl fusion once we find out whatever she was trying to say while on vacation.
I love it, thanks.
I think I'm mostly hoping for Steven/A human that isn't Connie. There's so much potential for that! Also, Peridot coming back to that Fusion offer Garnet made in Log Date would make me happy.
And @tesoroazul90, considering you talked about Peridot/Garnet Fusions, this one's probably my favorite. I love the mad scientist look.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Remember when people thought Lars and Steven on Homeworld would end with a Stars fusion?
Oh yeah, good times. I'm still kind of hoping for that actually

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I considered it a serious possibility. I liked what happened better though, because pink zombie is forever.
I think they should explore what’s happened to Lars already (Does he even need to breath? Has it affected his aging?) before complicating it even more.
But a Steven/Lion combo would be rad. (Yes, I remember the fanart of that which was basically Nina/Alexander from Fullmetal Alchemist.)
Oh yeah the fusions need to keep being set up well. It's funny cause ever since Steven found out in "Alone Together" that he can fuse, why didn't he just try fusing with the gems again then? Obviously we can't reveal every fusion in one episode.
@crossover-enthusiast, I like that design too. :) And yeah, we're probably looking at him surprise-fusing with another human eventually. It's kinda freaky when you think about it that Steven can technically fuse with any person there is so long as he has a close relationship with them. He could probably fuse with his dad (though I kinda hope he doesn't).

I kind of want a Mr. Multiverse fusion voiced by Jack Black...
Mostly Steven's initial fusions tend to be accidental, so I can see him laughing it up with Garnet for whatever reason and they end up fusing (Garnet often has a fit of laughter as she comes back together).
Pearl... I can't see too many situation where she and Steven would fuse. Likeaybe if she ever teaches him grappling and they start having fun or something.
I've always thought the pieces were mostly in place to create a Steven/Greg fusion - the situation just hasn't come to pass where it would trigger. I figure that, if it happened, would probably be worth 2 or 3 episodes at least. Outside of that... I've always figured Sadie would be the friend Steven would most likely fuse with. Not saying it will happen, just the one I could see most readily happening.
In terms of new fusions... well, I'm also more just "I'll take 'em as they come," but if I were to predict the one most likely to come up next, I'd guess Steven and Peridot. I think there is still too much between Steven and Pearl to resolve, more development would be needed for Steven and Garnet, and Peridot seems much more comfortable with Steven than any of the others (though Amethyst is close). I could see a Steven/Peri fusion happening much the same way Smoky Quartz first happened.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster. There was a pretty good anecdote about a bit of dialogue in "Raising the Barn".
McKenzie Atwood: She says, holding up a barn.
For reference the equivalent from the final episode was:
Lapis: Peridot, that's lying!
I find it best that each new fusion Steven gets is through a major evolution and breakthrough of character development. I even play Digimon Music to the fusion fights against Jasper that Smoky and Stevonnie had because that's how Digivolution worked in Digimon.

YO. Rules of the Internet 45. Rule 45 is a lie.For some reason Podbay uploaded the same episode, twice so I had use use this site
New theme music also a boxYeah, I think the dialogue doesn't really make sense to Peridot's dilemma. She is mostly going along with Lapis's evacuation because she thinks Lapis has been through enough anguish and its her duty as her friend to swallow her misgivings and go with her not because she's afraid Lapis will drown her or something.
I know, but it just seems to have been a thing. I didn't really think much of it.

Of course, "on average" means sometimes it's less extreme and sometimes it's more. Steven is an especially noticeable (and problematic case) because a head bigger than his torso majorly screws up his silhouette. Connie's always been various level of waifish, but it makes Steven look like a headswap of Onion.
