Moon◊Welcome to this forum, Wunn. And yes, this image is pretty poor. Is it only an excuse to pimp the Zazzle store? Current, by the way:
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanWhat was said by and , but not what was said by .
My guess is the Zazzle link is there as a form of acknowledgement rather than pimping.
I also coulda sworn a thread about this clocked out a little while ago, but searching says otherwise.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I think it came up in the Needs Image Source thread? Which is where the store link came from. I don't think it was intentionally meant to pimp the store; it's just how it came out. That doesn't mean how it came out is acceptable, though.
Moon◊Clock is set.

I'm also not sure you can summarise the idea that one of the most influential works of modern political philosophy is wrong in a single image.

The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableA shame it's not possible to have Machiavelli die in Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood as that could at least provide picture of a dead character.
The clock's up. The pic and caption are pulled; locking up.
If you'll look at the image, you'll see what I mean. It's just a logo on a t-shirt saying the words "Machiavelli was right." The only thing linking it to this trope is that it's description says "Not according to this trope, he wasn't!", with a link to a t-shirt selling site.
This does nothing to illustrate the trope, is a case of JAFAAC, and is also a blatant advertisement. I propose that it be either replaced or removed posthaste.
