I take issue with shooting first and asking questions later no matter who does it. I don't like that the quarians did it to the geth, but if the geth did it to others then I consider that just as wrong, even if they did have reason to be wary. I mean sure, it could be a pirate band or Cerberus looking to enslave geth the same way they tried to enslave rachni (and the way they were in the process of doing with Project Overlord), but it could also be explorers.
I would like to think that all the people who got killed by geth for taking their ships beyond the Veil were victims of the heretics. The fact that 2 tells us only heretics can create husks, and that the ship we board in 1 that the geth attacked has lots of husks on board, seems to suggest that it was the heretics who did that, at least in that case.
But non-heretics could've been responsible for other incidents, much as I hate to acknowledge that possibility, and paranoia doesn't excuse it IMO.

I didn't say it was morally right. Just understandable.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsAh, okay.
Something just occured to me.
If the Geth are software, why do they have their little platforms in the ship pressing buttons? Couldn't they just like be the ship?
Same for their fighters and that weird thingy that Legion steals near the end of Priority: Rannoch.

Oh really when?Yeah the fighters and ships having physical pilots is weird.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsI mean they do it with Armatures and Colossuses. At least I think they do, I don't see much room for a pilot.
Just sort of weird.
Oh really when? Some of the ships are just piloted by software. I think it's just the bigger ones that require physical crews.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."But what can a pilot do that an mere program cannot?
Artificial Intelligence is no match for Natural Stupidity.Maybe it's like a redundancy or maintenance thing.
Oh really when?Having mobile platforms provide maintenance I can understand. Having them pilot fighters and ships I cannot.
"War without fire is like sausages without mustard." - Jean Juvénal des UrsinsWhat I also like to see in Mass Effect 4 are female versions of all known races. It bugs me that Bioware adopted this "male is the standard" policy. And don't bring the excuse of no time for programming. There wouldn't have been more work to do if you just gave some Hanar or Volus female voices. Or, if you made all the appearing Turians male, at least make all the appearing Batarians female for example. Just imagine how off it would seem if the genders were reversed and all appearing characters of other races were female.
I think they made Asari and called it a day.
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Who are not actually female, what with no male asari around at all. Meaning we only get to see "females" of a race if there are no males around. The only exceptions were the Quarians. At least in the first two games, we basically only got to see females if they were sexually attractive to heterosexual male humans, what a coincidence. The only race (besides the geth of course) that defied this from the beginning were the Rachni.
What, you mean you don't find the Rachni hot?
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%.Admittedly their tentacles could be put to good use. As could their telepathic abilities.
...Wait, could the Asari reproduce with a Rachni?
We've seen the results of an Asari and a Krogan personality wise, what sort of disposition could the Rachni result in? Wonderful singing voices maybe?
Although, wait, why would the daughter of an Asari and a Vorcha be more prone to dairy allergies?
Ignoring that though. Yeah, there not being more female Turians at the least is weird. They supposedly don't treat females differently, it's the biotics that get the short straw. Which doesn't make sense either but whatever. The Batarians also.
And I don't see why the species need distinct models for the genders either. Maybe their sexual dimorphism doesn't work on ways we'd notice. I know most people that haven't studied it can't tell with most earth species they aren't familiar with. And sometimes you have to look at the genitalia themselves. Which would be rude during a conversation between two sentients.
Asari should be able to mate with Rachi, there's no reason they aren't able to.

Dalatrass Linron, Eve, and Nyreen Kandros say 'Hi'
Addition: I'm assuming you mean more females.

What also bugged me is that Asari are shown to be sexually attractive to males from almost all species. They look similar to humans, so humans make sense but the rest? That human androcentrism was so blatant it broke my Willing Suspension of Disbelief.
I liked the theory about the females just being indistinguishable frome the male ones but ME 3 disproved that at least for Krogans and Turians.
Yes, in the 3rd game they appeared. One individual of each. The Smurfette Principle applied to two whole races. And Nyreen Kandros is not even in the main game. (Well the replacement Salarian councilor is also female and the Salarians have at least an in universe explanation for the lack of females.)

I don't know. The female Krogans don't look that different, at least, from what I can tell from underneath the headpieces.
And I would note that while they might not appear different to humans, they can probably tell with each other.
And I guess the Turians might like the head tentacle crests. Except female Turians don't have those so nevermind.
There's always pheromones to consider I suppose.
And anyway. The human brain is designed to recognize human faces. There's a lot of our developmental years where we learn how to do that. It subtly affects how we perceive the world around us. Especially other organisms.

Krogan's also have an in-universe reason for so few females showing up. And there is a hidden scene about why other races like asari.
It only makes some sense that they'd see and emphasize the aspects that they find most attractive to the exclusion of other aspects. That actually has some basis.
I mean, to the extent that anything in this series has any basis in anything. That's close enough.
But female Krogans have different voices. It's not just the looks but the voices as well. Meaning that at least all talking Krogans were male except for Eve.
@Geth Knight: Okay I missed that. This could explain everything. And would make sense, since Asari can mate with everyone they want to attract everyone.
And females krogan are highly valued and kept in safety, due to the whole genophage and all.
Yeah seeing as how the Persues veil is on the other side of pirate and warlord space I'm not surprised there is a "shoot first ask questions never because we don't care what pirates have to say" policy in place in Geth space.
