The Witcher 3 coming late this year?

I still need to finish the first and start the second, but aw yiss.

Been playing the second and loving the hell out of it.

If the rumors are true (and this is a rumor, btw), then I'm totally stoked for it.

Yes! I'm replaying the second one after my friend returned it to me. It's one of my favorite games.

I was very pleased with the Witcher 2, so I'm excited for 3. And in an open world? That's gonna be interesting.

This calls for a celebration.

I'm excited. If they pull a Molyneux and deliver less than half of the features they're promising it'll be great. Just keep the same music guys and release it on GOG and you've got my purchase CDPR!

Oh, and see about getting the books translated, mmkay?

I have to admit, I'm a bit nervous at how CD Projekt RED's going to handle a full on, Elder Scrolls style open world RPG, but I have faith in them. With Bioware a shell of it's former self and Obsidian's terminally bad luck, they're the best WRPG developers out there right now.

Once again, Game Informer gets an exclusive lock on the juicy info. It would be greatly appreciated if linked sources were as direct as possible, rather than links to blog posts which themselves link to the actual sources.

Game Informer video about the Open World.

One of the statements the director made in that video is interesting. At around 1:23, he's talking about The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim and how it was rather generic in how it dealt with its characters and storyline. He feels that if you're gonna make a game with a lot of characters inside it, you should at least make it so they actually react to what you're doing in the game, as opposed to just sitting there being blank slates.

Bold statement, I guess. Sounds cocky, but has a lot of merit if what others say about Skyrim are of any indication.

Are you sure? I thought the post credit scene was Geralt just walking away from the ruined elven city.

He's right, I've seen it twice post-credit.
