One shows someone shooting at a paper because he's mad at an error, and the other shows the actual error. Visuals are nice, but it's usually a benefit if they actually have something to do with the trope.

That's not the problem with the suggestion. The problem with the suggestion is that the current shows the error, while the suggestion only says what the error was, but doesn't actually illustrate it. This makes the current a stronger image.
