If it's one of each color, I call green.

"You're an enemy of art and I pity your ignorance" - Domingo Montoya Help save the rainforest for free simply by going to Ecosia.org.It's not actually one of each color, but there are not that many. At the most, there would be under twenty dragons. Less than thirty if you count those that were killed before hatching or on their infancy. There is a chance for dragons of the same color to be born on the same place and develop a sibling relationship, though all of these dragons born out of nature will feel at least a weak bond of kinship. A sort of family tie. That is not to say that they need to get along swimmingly, just that they recognize the others as family.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. So while everyone else calls roles as various kinds of Dragon or such, I would like to call being an absolutely normal human, with armor, a sword, and a shield. And very supportive parents who are totally behind their son deciding he wants to be an adventurer.
In all seriousness though, he is going to feel a little... impotent. At least at first, I'd imagine. Speaking of, how powerful are the other combatants in terms of speed, strength, endurance, and overall destructive capacity? We talking more traditional sword and sorcery with peak humans and a few superhumans, or are we talking massively hypersonic mountainbusters? It'd be amazing if we went the Bastard route and had every charactee of note be capable of moving trillions of times the speed of light and nuking galaxies (although I doubt this will happen) XD
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialWell, all I know for my character is that he will be able to remain in this world even if his body is destroyed. He will just possess something of personal importance to him
Hmmm...
Dragonslayer.
Hey, don't go hatin' on Taco's dude just yet. Garet Jax had absolutely no magic wizard abilities, no fancy voice powers, and no illusion spells, and managed to get along just fine.
Would've liked to try porting a dragon character, but it looks like we'll already have plenty.
What degree of technological advancement are we talking about here? Medieval,Renaissance, some hybrid of the two? Will firearms be allowed, and if so at what level of advancement? I'm thinking of a classical, hunter/poacher/ kind of character is all.

To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.If we have a lot of dragons, we have a lot dragons. Not terribly troublesome in my mind, at least not so far. As for power level of the Heroes of Aldaria... well, they are meant to be a sample of the strongest or more skilled of Aldaria. Those who would have been the sole heroes battling against the darkness without intervention from the three supernatural forces.
Thus, they are meant to be, in one way or another, as capable and useful as the Dragons, Sorcerers and Sacred Arm bearers. That is not to mean the Dragons, Sorcerers and Sacred Arm bearers are to be undervalued by these heroes. After all, they match in power those who are among the most powerful individuals of the land, who have earned their power through long struggles and sacrifices.
Hmm... I have not played that videogame, but if I had to make an example... the Heroes are meant to be like the Champions of League of Legends. A disparate gathering of heroes and mighty individuals that do not fit the other three classes presented.
As for the time period... well, it is highly different depending on where you look. The current seat of power of the Dark Lord has technology bordering on the modern world. A city blessed with a brilliant Artificer might have Steampunk-like technology and innovation. Tribes scattered around the edges of the world live in near the stone age. But the standard elsewhere is medieval technology with fantasy tones.

If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. On second thought, may I place a tentative reservation for magic construct?
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialSo, uh... Something that will shock and confuse anyone who knows how I feel about them usually, but...
...What are elves like in this setting? Because for some reason I'm thinking of playing an elven Sacred Arm bearer.
Elves are rather standard fantasy fare. Humanoids with long ears, long lives, tend to be rather slim to the point they might appear delicate to other races. As a whole, the Elves tend to turn to magic and the natural world more than technology. To the elves, the rise and conquest of the Dark Lord seems to have happened in the blink of an eye due to their long lives making them see stuff on a different time scale from the other races.
Those are the very basics, though of course, things tend to vary from individual to individual. The elves still have families, towns and their lives while colored by their culture are not that different from that of the other races.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything. What about the technological level as a whole?
To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Hmmm, right, I can work with that. I expected that, actually, but thought I should ask first to make sure. Thanks~
Just need to decide whether or not to listen to the voice in my head telling me to make them a master of elven magical kung fu.
" technology bordering on the modern world"
Now I'm imagining a group of dwarves who join the heroes commandeering a tank to fight the Dark Lord.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimSteampunk tanks and gyrocopters for the dwarves, clearly. Because dwarves are the best fantasy race.
Cooking up a Great White Hunter, who might actually be black. With a rifle that can kill giants. Could also be a dwarf.

To the law and for the good of man. All I need to live by.Thinking of a sorcerer for me...
So, a High Fantasy epic. I'd say i'm up for something like that.
I think i'll sign on as a sacred arms user.
Might I ask how you are planning to handle the narrative of this story Daltar?
"And then the dead man of the dead did dead things to all the dead people."-Two Best Friends Play Dark SoulsTechnological level of the elves? Some communities are in middle age villages and such and there is a city which is now the substitute capital of the elven people which has advanced magic and the like which grants more commodities and advances than the norm.
As for the Narrative? We have the motivation of stopping the spreading of Karnas Realm. The pain of the people, the threat of incarceration and death are motivating factors for people to step into action. There are factions and characters that may provide guidance and help to the player characters. Assaulting the Dark Lord head on is practically suicide in his seat of power. Thus, it shall fall to the players to strike at his bases of power, eliminate the pillars of his strength and take down the strongest players on the side of Karnas. Then, a final assault on the Dark Lord becomes possible.
If I'm sure of something it's that I'm not sure of anything.Expressing my interest. Daltar seems to have a lot of very good ideas in this one, and so, I salute her.
Sign on for this After The End Fantasy RP.With the Divine Arms, would you play the Bearer, or the Weapon? And does the Bearer choose the Weapon or vice-versa?
Trump delenda est
I'm guessing it's one of each color then? If so, I call red.
