[up]Yeah, Nickelodeon.... Needs more Korra and Robot & Monster (yes, as dumb as I'm sure people will tell me it is, I think it's great!), keep up the good work with TMNT; less useless sitcoms and definitely LESS of that yellow noisemaker and his pink idiot fiance... That, and more animated variety, which means no more Butch Hartman - that would be for great measure.

Now can we get back on subject? This is about Disney, right (then again, I've already said what Disney needs more or less of on their TV stations besides better leadership all around!)?

[up][up] I care, I really do . I know it should have said "existing". But in reality what happened is that I first typed "no longer existed". Then I thought to myself "Maybe stopped existing would be better?". Then I replaced it. Funny thing, I forgot to modify the "existed" word. The good part about it is that apparently it made your day a lot more interested.

[up] Okay, that "interested" had to be on purpose there tongue

For one, cancel/very long hiatus at least three of the kidcoms. Stop having so many unneeded marathons, it gets boring really quickly. Please stop promoting flashy teen pop stars every commercial, Disney isn't meant to be a (good) music channel. Other then all that its no worse then Nick, there pretty much the same.

Good new Disney cartoons:

  • Kid vs Cat
  • Phinease and Ferb
  • Gravity Falls

Cartoon Network has just barely climbed to the top alongside the Hub. I just hope they drop this Hall of Game thing (Wait, kids are watching EVEN MORE sports channels?!)

[up] Honestly - I thought Jimmy Two Shoes and Kick Buttowski were FAR F-ing better (despite both having overall decent to disappointing second season episodes...). As for Kid Vs Kat being any GOOD - (IMHO)Sorry. No. JUST. NO...

With that out of the way, Disney needs more efforts like Gravity Falls (I don't care for Phineasand Ferb). For me, here's hoping Wander Over Yonder (if and when it comes out) can match such an example and make up for Jimmy Two Shoes' and Kick Buttowski's faults, if anything.

Both those first 2 shows you mentioned had kickass (no pun) Flash animation! If you have to use Flash, THIS is the kind of animation you should be doing!

I thought it was good compared to some of the other shows. A 5 out of 10.

I have watched only one episode of Kid Vs Kat, but I didn't think it was actually bad at all.

[up][up][up] Sir, I'm sure you don't think much of those shows as I fucking do, but THANK YOU for pointing out something important that makes therm so memorable/memorable enough IMHO - Yes, THAT IS HOW YOU FUCKING DO FLASH ANIMATION, just like Friendship Is Magic and (whether anyone else besides me likes it or not) Littlest Pet Shop (2012)...

EDIT - No one needed me to say that much.

I thought Phineas And Ferb was done with traditional (albeit digital) animation, with Flash only being used in rare circumstances (e.g.: the "Yodel-Odel-Obey Me" scene).

I never saw Kid Vs Kat, but it looked harmless enough. No worse than other mundane "a game of cat and mouse"-type shows.

Flash is okay, unless put on rectangular characters.

[up][up]Phineas And Ferb is NOT MADE in Flash. I was talking about Buttowski and Kidvskat.

Okay, after reading the tropes page for Kid Vs Kat, I can see why people would dislike it. I'm wary of the show now, since Crapsack World abusive comedy in children's shows tends to get grating fast.

[up]At least you know why I loathe that fucking Tom And Jerry & Invader Zim ripoff now, which is what it definitely is with none of the charm, wit, or memorability (IMHO, anyway)!

Certainly seems to be memorable enough for you to launch into bitter vitriolic hatred of it.

Scrap good. After looking over a couple episodes I realize its average at best and tasteless at worst.

[up][up]It's out of what could have been (IMHO), and how it pisses me off, if you must know. However, at this point, is there anything else that can be thought of to improve these channels - I don't want to ramble on about my opinions of just one show, after all!

The only thing that annoys me more than the shows themselves are the commercial breaks. It's bad enough that a majority of said commercials are about the excess amount of teenybopper kidcoms, but then you've got sleepover tips and kids talking about their favourite food or whatever. The rare times I actually watch the channel (mostly for Gravity Falls), it makes it pretty grating... but on the bright side, I have more time to go to the loo or pour a drink or myself or something.

Disney XD has only recently been launched in my home country (Australia), but I don't have it on my Foxtel subscription, so I can't really say anything about that.

IMO, Disney needs more cartoons, less live action garbage, rerun some old shows that were good on Disney on Disney again, and do the thing where they'd air their movies at night with little or no commercials every night.

As much as I would like to see more variety instead of dumb sitcoms and mediocre cartoons, I doubt that would ever happen. Plus, Disney Channel and XD appeal to their target demographics pretty well, so..yeah.

Supports cartoons being cartoony!

I must be the only one who has seen Kid Vs Kat all the way and still thinks it's a homage to Zim.

Bring back Toon Disney, and take the Disney Channel back to how it was pre-1995, and I'll be happy.

At the very least they could start some retro Disney channel, though I have little hope of that not succumbing to Network Decay very quickly.

I remember watching some episodes when I was younger. I don't remember it being a bad show.
