That image seems to be mostly text, for me at least.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI like it. Better than no image.
I like it, and while there's a good bit of text, the text and the image complement each other; neither would work alone.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.Indeed; another vote for it on my part.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.Count my vote for it.
"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."How do we put it on the page? Vertically stacked or downsized?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanStacked vertically looks best to me.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.I am skeptical of the claim that it's better than nothing. How does it illustrate the trope? Maybe I just don't get it.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan. It's very weak to me, and I'm not even sure I understand it. If it had been on the page, I might've called Keep Until Better Image Suggested, but as it isn't, I don't see a significant improvement to add it to the page.

Check out my fanfiction! Was Jefferson going to write "pursuit of Yankee Doodle" if not for the scene outside the window?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I like it.
Would someone who likes it please explain why?
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I believe it'd have been "Life, liberty and property", wouldn't it? As per John Locke.
Moon◊I meant in that comic's world.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think what it's saying is that seeing the guy chasing the girl and the obvious fun they're having persuaded him to make the last thing "pursuit of happiness" as opposed to whatever he might've been thinking of at the time, if anything. It's not a slam dunk, but it works well enough for me.
I see it the same way as Wilbyr. What "Pursuit of Happiness" replaced (or even if he had anything he replaced it with) isn't relevant.
...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it.It is relevant in the sense that without something like that, it's really hard to understand. You have to know what the trope means already to figure it out. I think page images should be meaningful before someone reads the page it's on.
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I disagree that what he was going to put, (if he was going to put anything at all) is relevant. The important thing is that the couple flirting cause him put down what we are familiar with it saying. And him thinking "Ok, how about..."And the Pursuit of Happiness..." strongly indicates that he had no intention of putting that particular phrase until he saw then.

...if you don’t love you’re dead, and if you do, they’ll kill you for it."What we are familiar with it saying" is the Real Life equivalent of fanmyopia, though. It's not common knowledge outside USA. I only guessed what it was about because I know what the trope means.
Check out my fanfiction!I'm from the US and I still don't really get it.
Clock is set.
I'm from South Africa and I understand it.
He's writing the Declaration of Independence.
It also implies that the people outside inspired him to add that part to the Declaration.
I thought that the man outside was a time traveller due to his clothes and his hair, which would make sense for the trope.

Alright, the clock's up and we really don't have enough of a solid consensus to go with the pic. Locking up.
This image IS of my doing, from my Times Like This comic. I give full permission to use it, if that clears up any legal BS.
