Middle school and primary school are kinda "fused together" as Ensino Fundamental (fundamental teaching or learning) in Brazil.
Funnily, our actual High School equivalent could easily be mistaken as middle school mostly because It's name means "middle learning"

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!Middle school was best times! High school was meh. Uni is crap.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerOhhh man Uni sucked for me. Some good times, but I was in a really antisocial period and didn't do much with my Uni friends. I was also a terrible student who at times would procrastinate hardcore and at other times would take the study too seriously and blow off seeing my friends/fiancee because I overestimated the work and studied stuff I didn't need.
It's a shame cause it could have been fun if I hadn't screwed things up so badly at the time.
High school was a great time for me. My teachers all favoured me, and I was always with my friends. My English clash had a laidback teacher and most of my circle in it - it was great.
Well, there were some major downs during it since I was really bad at handling my depression at the time, but I still have a lot of great memories and miss being around my friends so often.
Uni would be better if I was on campus instead of in town, I'm pretty sure I'm missing out on 99% of the fun.
Yeah, Uni was about a 45 minute drive for me, so I wasn't going to go there just to hang out or go to parties there.
Watched Psycho-Pass.
What is this?
A serious anime that is mostly devoid of moe-shirt and deals with actually thought-provoking subject? An anime that I can comfortably recommend to non-anime watching people?
What kind of sorcery is this?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Urobuchi wrote the first season, which should say enough. I wouldn't bother with the second one, though.
Urobuchi the name you can... trust?

You can trust him to be needlessly dramatic, that's for sure~
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerPsycho Pass was pretty good, I liked the setting, tone and art. I don't think I ever ended up finishing it though, I remember there being something that put me off it. Or maybe that was the second season. Or maybe I'm getting mixed up with Tiger And Bunny.
I think Psycho-Pass would make an AWESOME crossover with Person of Interest.
I liked this anime because the premise was ambitious but so was the execution. We see an interesting concept and see how it influences not only the main characters, but the world around them, in a level of detail rarely found in speculative anime. Not that it used all its potential, but quite a lot.
Oh, and all the major characters are adults. You don't see that often nowadays either.
The only thing I hated about the series was....the main character's hair. Ugh, how I hate that hair.
I'm still going to watch season 2, though. The idea sounds even more interesting. The main villain, although his identity sounds absurd, sounds rather hardcore and fascinating as well.
(In my previous post I totally wrote "moe-SHIRT'' instead of moe-shirt, btw. XD)
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. You mean like... out of High-School?
That doesn't seem right.
You don't say?
I know. Anime characters out of high schools are, like, totally dwarves, elves, dragons or something.
XP
Oh, and should mention that I have a puppy now. She's a 3 months (I think?) old toy poodle. Her name is Vivi, short for Vivian Leigh, because my dad thinks she looks like her. Don't ask me. -shrugs-
And by God, that thing is adorable.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I can't even remember when I last watched anime with an all adult cast. XD
Haven't watched anime in a while, so the last one with an all-adult cast... Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
Speaking about Urobuchi, I just noticed this quote on his page:
Well, at least we know who got the Mystic Eyes of Death Perception in this universe.

Not a substitute for a formal medical consultation.Meh, Uro's darkness is nowhere near as close to Taro Yoko's anyways.

"Please crush me with your heels Esdeath-sama!I had the weirdest dream - First I was a Super Sayian, a blue haired one from the new movie, then everyone tried to make me marry my cousin but no one could explain why, then suddenly the action shifted and Denzel Washington was like this detective who was trying to solve a series of weird murders, but then a twist - he was the murderer! Or maybe it was just someone who looked like him, things got bit hazy at this point, then I was escaping from him while he tried to snipe me, I jumped into a river and woke up.
I should eat less before going to sleep.
Blue haired Super Saiyan: something that belongs in the weirdest of dreams. If only it stayed there.
Don't you like the new Super Sayian form Saiman?
Nah. Looks identical to shitty fan recolours we got during the AF nonsense (that exact blue was used for Super Saiyan 8), has a poor name, seems totally unnecessary and I don't like the God stuff much at all.
I didn't like Super Saiyan God either, but I would have preferred if they just had Goku learn to control it so they don't need yet another form.
I like the God stuff, feels like something fresh.
Have to agree with Shlugo on this.
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!Have to agree with Saiga on this.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."
We don't even have middle school here. Actually, I think we do, but it's like an optional thing. So instead of going from primary school to high school, you leave primary school early to go to middle school and enter high school late.
Seems completely pointless.
