To start, man do I love Heinoustuck. I love seeing the various differences between Homestuck and this, and having flashes at all is impressive.

Yeah, Guidestuck is pretty good too. It's interesting to note that according to whatever liking system the site uses, it's the most popular fan adventure at the moment.

That is mostly, I've heard, because it had a massive tumblr following before it started mirroring, and the author got a bunch of their fans to go fav it on the mirror.

I am a little bit miffed by that, since its numbers vastly outstrip native MSPA forums adventures, which is what the mirror was originally made for.

Well, that sort of makes sense since Scarvenrot was putting material out on her tumblr long before she started the story proper. I like it; seems like it has promise.

Heinoustuck is kind of weird for me, since I don't normally read horror stories like this.

Yup, the author was talking about stuff before it was put.

IIRC, she was surprised at the fact it was so popular.

I know I've been pimpin' the hell out of Superego, but seriously, read it. While the pacing is pretty slow, there are no pesterlogs to break up, and the art has a great style and feel, and the characters are all great.

Another fun one is Jack Quest, which is exactly what is sounds like. It's very silly and has a lot of in-jokes (As well as HUGE SPOILERS for Homestuck), but I still like it.

I second Seperego suggestion. Awesome comic. It should definitively get more love. It is not remotely related to Homestuck, btw. The characters and art style are completely different.

What are the two musics used in Heinoustuck's latest flash's music? I recognized the second part from Umbral Ultimatum, but I can't put my finger on the first part...

The read list:

I'm an avid reader of Homestesque, A Complete Waste of Time, Waterworks and Cordless (which was recently resurrected, after dying like Nepeta Quest 2011 did). I've also recently added Housebound and Matrix's Edgestuck to that list. And lastly, for anyone who has played Iji, the Iji fanventure is a must-read.

Also if you have time, you can try Her name was Alia which is dead, but very cute/nice.

As for completed adventures, I recommend Alanna and Eddie.

2015 Edit: It's saddening that most of the adventures I'm fan of are now either on "extended hiatus" or officially dead...

What's the update schedule for Guidestuck? Every few days? Sporadic?

Looks generally to be every 2-3 days. Sometimes faster, sometimes slower.

The Rosesprite we were shown had Human!Rose's face, so I would assume something similar has happened here.
