Maybe Pyro....no, Pyro's kind of insane so, yeah, Shay.

Well, if Max got rid of his wanting to bang the succubus (a common affliction it seems tongue), he might be in the running for Only Sane Man.

Also, gotta love the "I was only gone two minutes!" line. Is that a trope?

Plot twist: Thor is the Only Sane Man.

Also it probably is a trope, but there's a trope for everything and I didn't have one in mind when I wrote it.

I haven't been able to find one that resembles the phrase so I might need to head down to the YKTTW this evening.

Also, speaking of Thor, I'm of the opinion that we should breed one of the dire wolves with Thor to create a pack of DIRE DALMATIANS! We need that.

@Fantasy: We already discussed that plan. There's only one wolf Thor could breed with, (On account of the other wolf being Male.) Gray. There's two problems: Gray hates Thor, and Thor is terrified of Gray.

Anyway, here now, planning to post. Jhesh guys, thanks for giving Lisa and the NPCs time to react to all the shit you did.

No seriously though, I may have to ask for some posts to be blammed, because they would have done stuff by the time all the things you guys did happened.

EDIT: Okay, I've worked out a way for me to do this without needing you guys to change any of you posts, but I need you guys to remember something. That topic we talked about before, of letting characters who are involved in a situation time to react to things they would logically react to? That applies to me too, guys. Frickin' seriously...

But I thought I made Pyro a chronomancer!

But, I'll try to do that.

It's alright, it's alright. I may have been momentarily irked but I'm not really mad.

Still though, it would be appreciative if you guys tried a little harder to do that. Especially if we get any more new players, for their sake at the very least.

Which speaking of, I'd been meaning to ask @Tricksen: Did you want to make a second character at all? It doesn't really matter if you don't, I'm just wondering.

Okay, now I'm a little angry. Gameknight, did you not fucking read my post? Recon nonchalantly brushing himself off then telling Lisa off is not what he should be doing right now. That's exactly the kind of fucking thing I meant in that little parenthesis.

Also the effect of the spell is still on. Recon is still feeling that pants-shitting level of terror towards Lisa.

I thought being the Only Sane Man (or woman) was Shevon's job, but then again she's leaving us so Shay's probably it, yeah.

And, I was thinking of waiting a bit before making a new character, but I have some plans, yes. Just depends on whether you're allowed to make non-wolf Lycans or not.

You mean like a werebear or such? Still a lycan just not a werewolf? They're uncommon, but they exist.

Yeah, because it said in the sign-up that the defaults were werewolves, runners and vampires. Although, which ones are less common than werewolves but more common than other types of Lycans?

That statement was referring to all monsters in general, (werewolves, runners, and vampires are all monsters that were originally Human, hence them being the default) but as for which lycan type is second most common behind werewolves?

Probably werebears.

Firock, would a character that's never seen be possible to play?

I mean a character that, only interacts with the other hunters through radio chatter. He is always somewhere nearby, so he can still hear the conversations, but he never shows his face.

Uh, no, not really. A Player Character simply being a bit enigmatic is one thing; one who might as well not be involved in the story at all is another entirely.

I mean, what would even be the point if all they ever did was interact through the radio? By that very criteria, they would never be able to participate in battle for one thing; for another, nobody in the party would ever have a reason to trust or even believe the complete stranger who only talks on the radio and might be stalking them.

Interacts was the wrong word. A hunter who only ever talks to the others through radio would be more accurate.

Was thinking of a sniper PC that attacks from veeery far away and is very good at keeping himself hidden. I thought this'd be okay because you designed a unit specifically to counter hidden snipers.

Attacking from very far away isn't always going to be an option. To really be involved in the game, he'd have to travel with everyone else, not separately, so at some point he'd have to be in the same place as everyone else, as in inside the same room or vehicle. Make that at several points, actually.

Talking on only the radio at such a point would just be silly.

Right, so there it is, the alternative transportation option I mentioned before. You guys could take a train.

The upsides:

  • You can take pretty much all the people willing to come along; it's going to have plenty of room for both them and new additions you may meet later on.
  • You don't have to worry about getting lost; it's literally on rails.

The downsides:

  • You also can't try to evade or really jink anything that comes after you; because once again, it's literally on rails.
  • Since none of you guys really have the skills necessary to keep a train running or even know how to get it running in the first place, you'd have to take Garnet along; even if you otherwise don't want to.

Max is worried about the department of transportation? In the apocalypse? tongue

Anyway, I just realized I forgot about Arthur being asked a question, so I'm gonna edit my post. Hold on.

Probably not exactly the DOT, but somebody in the government or military. Given how likely it is that there's reduced oil importation from the less-lucky parts of the world, rail transportation is probably the single most important form of transportation available when it comes to bulk movement. And since Uncle Sam is srsbsns, they'd undoubtedly royally fuck up anybody stupid enough to try ramming a train up their tracks.

Also, how much of the firetruck's equipment is working? Like the hoses, the siren, the radio, and the ramming pads. And does it have any extra equipment like helmets or axes?

EDIT: Also edited my post in responses to Firock's recent edit.
