Aw, that's really cute. I always wondered if more kids could happen.
Most halfway decent people don't bone their daughters' best friends.
Why, thank you.
And Damien is nothing, if not a more-than-halfway decent person.

I assume you mean Darien if you're using the dub names.
I was wondering, do you think the rest of the senshi (the main 4) would eventually get together with someone and have kids in Crystal Tokyo after a while? Like when Chibi-Usa grew a little older and got her own senshi. I mean, I don't think Usagi would tell them they couldn't, but I could see them purposely refraining from getting into a serious relationship or pregnant just in case a threat came around and they were needed.
I kind of want to write a series of short stories about that, and what the kids would act like and do.
One of Takeuchi's spinoff manga shorts had the Inner Senshi all with daughters who looked like their Mini-Mes. That took time in the 'near future', but considering how the story tends to repeat itself so much when it comes to the Senshi...
oh, I've heard of that but it was actually an alternate universe in itself, not a continuation of Crystal Tokyo.
Besides, I really don't like it when kids are carbon copies of the adults. They can look similar, but they need to at least act a little different. I mean, you'd think the father would have some sway in the kid too.
Like for Mako's child, maybe they don't like gardening or sports, or they aren't nearly as inclined to fighting.
Or if Ami gets with Ryo the psychic guy, the kid starts having secondary Dark Kingdom traits come out. Just don't make an Ami clone.
Derp, yeah, I meant Darien.
The Dark Lords Ascendant updated. To any of you unfamiliar with it, it's the third of the The Dark Lords of Nerima series of fics, which are a crossover between Ranma One Half and Sailor Moon. The basic plot is that in order to save herself, a youma tricks the Sailor Senshi into thinking that the Nerima Wrecking Crew are dark lords from another dimension and her new masters. And Ranma takes the idea and runs with it. The Dark Lords Ascendent takes place after the end of both series and is about the Sailor Senshi discovering that the "Dark Lords of Nerima" aren't nearly as vanquished as they'd been led to believe.
How much of a spike in new SM fanfiction do you foresee once the Crystal series airs?
Pretty high, considering all the new fans that it'll bring in along with the ones who just started watching the original on Hulu.
So I just finished archive binging Dungeon Keeper Ami, and now I don't have anything to read! Can I get some fanfic recs? I especially want anything starring Sailor Mercury.
TheMillionDollarGrant was a fun read to me. It's an AU where the senshi get a million dollars halfway through the first arc, and things spiral off from there. It starts off focusing on all of them, but the back half of it focuses more on Ami's struggles. It uses dub names, but besides that it's pretty good if you're okay with some swearing, some dark humor, and slightly different, more gritty character interpretations.
On another topic, I'm working on an AU idea where during the Silver Millennium, the main four senshi and the two cats manage to survive the Dark Kingdom attack due to the Queen's extra meddling, and they get sent to the future without getting memory wiped and reincarnated. This gives them the advantage of having all their skills and powers right off the bat, but they also are forced to deal with all the mental baggage and cultural differences from the far past.
So yeah, PTSD!Senshi and a clueless Usagi vs. Dark Kingdom.

The Million Dollar Grant sounds awesome, definitely checking that out.
Edit: Never mind. The premise is interesting, but they're pretty out of character.

Let's see... I've written some stuff for this, but the only one I feel like talking about is the one where Usagi dies and everyone reflects on her....
My AO3. Results may varySay, would writing Queen Serenity as an actual character count as O.C. Stand-in, given that we know little about how she was like in daily life beyond the most general of descriptions, most of which are about specific notable events involving some of the various arcs' respective Big Bads (e.g. Metallia, Nehellenia)?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I came up with an odd idea for a Witches 5 vs Black Moon Sisters (or spectral Sisters) story (and an overall Black Moon vs Death Busters story).
The basic idea is.....actually there are two ideas really:
1) The plot gets derailed when the Black Moon captures Chibi Usa early in the future and kicks everyones ass. Since the latter never goes back in time, this causes the Death Busters to awaken first in the past and start messing with things, managing to defeat the Senshi due to the Sorting Algorithm of Evil being off. So the Black Moon family send the 4 sisters and Chibi Usa as Black Lady back into the past to keep things on track.
The Death Busters suddenly find themselves fighting a new enemy who's just as ruthless and evil as themselves, and start fighting back. Due to the early defeat of the Senshi, both groups mess with the minds of the people to make them think they are the good guys, defeating each others Daimon and Droids to keep the respective public on their sides
Meanwhile, Chibi Usa has been brainwashed to believe she's part of the family, and turn into Black lady when they need more firepower, while Hotaru has Mistress Nine as a second evil persona that takes over without her knowledge.
I'll have to cut the number of witches (removing Cyprine and Pitol) due to only needing 4 for each side beyond Black Lady and Mistress Nine being their leaders. Each member would match up with the Senshi that they corresponded to in the anime, and the plot would mix aspects of the anime and manga. Eventually Chibi Usa and Hotaru would meet both as their regular selves, and as Black Lady and Mistress Nine, and all hell would break loose.
2) The second version of the idea is more or less the same as the first, only both groups come from alternate future timelines (the death busters also coming from a world where they won). Beyond that, they might also travel back to before the Senshi even awaken, completely screwing the timeline. The Dark Kingdom sees these two groups fighting, and just decides to sit back and let them roflstomp each other.
I'm sure I've given this idea out before. With Sailor Moon Crystal out, I may actually give it a real try and see how it goes, but we'll have to wait and see.
One Strip! One Strip!i kind of want to see a crossover between Sailor Moon and Nanoha Force
Bumbleby is best ship. busy spending time on r/RWBY and r/anime. Unapologetic SocialistI’d read it. I’ve skimmed over the fic list at FF.net, and there are far too few general fics focusing on the villains. I’d request you don’t just remove Cyprine and Ptilol from the story though. One of my pet peeves is when a character is just forgotten for arbitrary reasons (not attractive enough for shipping, fan-unfavorite, any number of other reasons). Have them encounter Prince Diamond early on, fight and die (it'd establish the Black Moon as a big threat, considering they were supposed to be among the strongest), or say they’re still undergoing training offscreen, just don’t pull an Orwellian Retcon and say there were always 4 witches.

Fair enough. I did consider having something like that happen.
One Strip! One Strip!Random idea: Due to Usagi's victory over Sailor Galaxia, the universe decides that it's probably a good idea to suck up to the new superpower that kicked the old unstoppable superpower's ass. Various space governments who've only recently gotten their world's senshi star seed back begin coming to Earth, trying to get on the good side of it's no doubt all powerful ruler...
Cue space people trying to tell if Sailor Moon is the cool old lady who lives in the island with bad weather, the black guy in the white house, the various guys in suits...
Because of COURSE the planet is ruled by a Senshi. Now, if they could just make out which of these people is really the most powerful one and doing the ruling and is by process of elimination actually Sailor Moon...
"Island with bad weather"?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.Ah, OK.
... Pffffftttt. Nobody thought that perhaps the Sailor Soldier in question may be a shadow ruler of the world, rather than a public one? (Admittedly, they'd still be wrong, but it's still a possibility that they shouldn't have dismissed.) And why are they considering male rulers when it should be obvious to them that most of Earth's countries have no problem with female rulers (including ones that are currently ruled by men), anyway?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
I'm almost afraid to ask, but... Where's Hotaru's daughter-from-the-future?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.
