The current, while being mostly a ghost and looking like Phlebotinum (which in my home is at odds with "illusion") is not "seconds from disaster", and for now I lean towards Keep Until Better Image Suggested:
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThis is kind of weird - the image fits the page title perfectly, but not the page description.
The Revolution Will Not Be TropeableClock is set.
I like the current pic, it's not super busy and demonstrates the trope in a way a full-environment manipulating MOI pic might not. For sake of an alternative, here's Lord of The Unreal from Magic The Gathering.
^That works a nod better than current.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanAgreed.
Looks like "Type 3" Mon. There is no signs that it isn't a Mon, but he's a Master of Illusion so maybe that's the point. He wouldn't be a Master of Illusion if it was possible to see that it was an illusion.?

Semi-transparent does not like an existing thing either. And for the record, you can say the same thing about the current image as well (even if with another trope than Mon)
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanMaybe this one is better? [1]
Rhymes with "Protracted."Maybe...it's a really cool pic, regardless.
Not as good as the suggestions before.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanClock's up; locking for inactivity/lack of consensus. No action is to be taken based on this thread.
Low quality image, the illusion looks like some sort of ghost (in fact, the illusionist was pretending that's what it was), and it isn't potholed. I'm sure we can come up with something better.
