Works for me.
No. That's a spoiler from the last episode.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerLooks to much like just a shadow, I'd suggest something that's more clearly fluid.
How about we use a screenshot from the censored German version of Meet the Soldier? That is a literal example of black blood.
That all depends on if one can be found/made that's good enough to use.
Not sure about the "Meet the Team" vids. I know they are listed as examples, but they aren't exactly played straight. They bleed black oil because they're robots in the German version. From the description: "Not to be confused with cases where the "blood" is supposed to be a different color, like with robots or some aliens." I mean they switched to them being robots because of German restrictions, which is consistent with the trope, but well... I don't know. It doesn't feel like a straight example to me, strictly speaking.
But that reminds me... I think the German release of L4D changed the blood's colour to green. I'm not sure if that would be a good illustration of the trope though. It's not that strange for zombies to bleed green I guess. Maybe a comparison between releases?

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.I'd suggest the censored version of No More Heroes, but I can't find a good screenshot.
I knew that (about the robot thing), but I didn't know if it were a straight example or not.
Clock is set. I have an idea for a suggestion but it's gonna be tonight before I can find it and it may not be demonstrative enough.

Re-clocking because we had company staying with us all weekend and I didn't get a chance to search for the example I was thinking of.
Found it - panel 3. Too indistinct?
Kind of.
Check out my fanfiction!Better than nothing.
I tried looking for a few examples, like Moon Phase and Gargoyles, but all I saw was red blood.
Check out my fanfiction! The other question I had about that suggestion is whether or not it's passed the "old enough to be common knowledge" point or if it's still too much of a spoiler. It's the first Cobra Commander being backshot by a Crimson Guardsman in the original GI Joe comic book. That happened...in the late 80's or very early 90's, I think.

Saint Seiya had a Bowdlerised version in its first release in the US. Part of that was censoring the massive ammounts of blood with, well...
[changed the pic to one with crisper quality]

And here's one from a little later that same episode. There was a nice one of Shiryu lying in a huge pool of his own blood, but the american vid I found doesn't go that far.

Both of those are very good; perhaps a note in the image about where each version is from?
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I prefer #18.

You mean as a caption? So something like: "In the original Anime Shiryu bled a lot. DiC changed that to blue "mystical energies."

Maybe adding the company logos or names into the corners of the panels and then a caption highlighting the differences?

With Logos:
And because it matched up so nicely, single panel.

The Black Blood article has no image. I suggest this◊ image.
I've known about it since the beginning. But I just refused to believe it.
