Last night I was thinking that Bounty Hunter's Aghanim could upgrade the scan ability, somehow.

So, Underlord is coming soon. Hopeful for a good sequel comic to the Legion Commander one.

So Underlord is a commander from Beneath the Earth who seeks to conquer the surface. Nothing complicated here. Sadly, no continuation on Tip of the Spear...

Checked his voice responses too. Predictably, Underlord is LC's Arch-Enemy. Underlord seems to have a thing for QoP, though he lacks any ally lines for her.

Also, a line for killing Bane? "You have my permission to die."

That's right. Valve just baneposted in a video game. That's it, Valve has won the meme war.

I expected LC and Underlord to be mortal enemies.

Is Underlord OP or what? o.o I only played two co-op bot matches so far to try him out, and while my play was sub-par, he feels like he'd be a powerhouse in the hands of a skilled player. Idk. Still trying to figure out a good build for him.

I think Underlord will be a decent pick for pro teams when he's enabled in Captain's Mode. If they're coordinated enough to utilize Io effectively, they're coordinately enough to make use of Dark Rift effectively.

Also, they fixed Mirana's face now. Yey.

Now that it apparently works with Lycan wolves, you can actually go anywhere on the map unnoticed (unless the rift animation is visible even if the target is invisible, which shouldn't be the case).

Why isn't the Underlord listed under jungling heroes?

... I mean, I don't jungle well, but he seems to do alright in the jungle. I do better with him than with other actual jungle heroes ._.

Today I learned that Firestorm was changed during Underlord's transition to Dota 2. The damage over time effect now deals a percentage of the enemy's max health as damage.

Do you have any tips for Underlord builds? Carry, jungle, even support, I guess.

Also, any tips for playing with a touchpad?

Building tanky items on Underlord seems to be the way regardless of role to cast Firestorm as often as possible since the percentage damage is too good to neglect. Guardian Greaves sounds like a good core item as a result, as it gives Underlord everything he wants (mana, healing, decent survivability...).

As for the touchpad... uhm. No comment.

I'd say throw in a Drums too, since the (possible) bonus damage from Atrophy Aura works well with it, and it makes him tankier too. Force Staff/Blink is pretty much a given. I'll probably be the only asshole who builds an Aether Lens on him.

Hm, I did have mana problems with him, but I focused on making Phase Boots for ganks. Maybe Arcane into something for farming into Blink into Mekansm?

I mean, the issue with Greaves is that TP boots is such a great item for him that anything else feels… wrong. Maybe I'm trying too hard to carry the game with Underlord.

Play Underlord as an offlaner or a support IMO. He's best that way, and he don't shine through right clicking damage.

Also, I just realized something. Legion Commander was Born into Slavery. Underlord takes slaves. A subtle reason for them being archenemies, which is why I think Valve added the slavery thing to LC's lore while they wrote Underlord's lore to make their rivalry that much personal.

Doesn't seem like there's a continuation. I am surprised too, especially as the last introduced heroes came with comics to introduce them, so it seemed like a pattern.

Monkey King is coming somewhere in fall. No idea when exactly.

So I know people have said this in the past, but I need some advice on how to get MMR more easily. I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but my current MMR is only in the 200s.

200s? You didn't forget a zero there? Damn son. My advice is to pick Nature's Prophet, jungle with impunity since they probably won't stop you, and splitpush harder than AdmiralBulldog in the grand finals of TI3 when you get the chance. Players aren't good at dealing with splitpushes down there, probably.
