My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic SPOILER TALK THREAD

There's definitely a lot of potential there. I'm primarily excited about the fact that Twilight seems to be getting a solo episode that isn't about Starlight or being a Princess or anything like that. She's just dealing with a comparatively mundane problem.

On the other hand, I hope they can give the episode enough of a unique twist that it isn't just "'Baby Cakes', but with Twilight".

As for the Maud one, I'm guessing that whatever her decision is, it'll probably be for a reason completely unrelated to their attempts to convince her to move there. Also those attempts will almost certainly backfire at first.

So we got, Twilight foalsitting for Cadence and Shining Armor, and Pinkie trying to find reasons for Maud to move to ponyville?

These episodes are gonna be interesting.

I wonder if the Maud episode is the team's way of making her a more consistent secondary character, without having to make up a reason for why she's there. (Assuming she does choose to stay in Ponyville)

Equestria Daily has revealed 4 new episode titles and summaries for season 7. One is about Rainbow Dash having Amazingly Embarrassing Parents (might explain why she's never mentioned them before). There's another that might make some shippers angry because supposedly Big Mac gets a crush on Sugar Belle! I'm assuming that's the same Sugar Belle from Equal Town, so it will be interesting to see that group come to Ponyville (or if Big Mac is visiting Starlight Glimmer's old town?). The other two are about Rarity and Sweetie Belle (where Rarity is unaware that Sweetie Belle's interests have changed as she's grown up) and about Fluttershy getting a dream career opportunity (it doesn't say what career that is, though).

The Fluttershy episode seems interesting, what with its focus on Fluttershy's career.

Pfft like he wasn't basically one already.

I'm curious to see the Crusaders interact with Sugar Belle, considering she used to be part of a cult that was against ponies having different cutie marks/being different from each other in general.

I'm a bit surprised that Rainbow Dash has embarrassing parents.

Explains why they haven't shown up yet. Dash has probably kept them away from her friends as much as possible.

So with Dash's parents and AJ's parents each getting episodes, I now kind of want to see Starlight's just to see their reaction to both of the things she did.

Speaking of, I'm going to be so mad if AJ's parents aren't a flashback episode. >.< It's been pretty strongly indicated that they're dead. Like, over and over. I'm fine with that never being confirmed. I wouldn't expect it to ever be.

But if they just show up like, "Hey, y'all, we've been alive for the last six seasons and just never showed up even to the reunion events because we are awful people!" then I can tell you right now, that episode is getting such a pissed off review that "Amending Fences" will look like a goddamn masterpiece by comparison.

I think it's confirmed it is a flashback, actually.

Which episode is going to be about Applejack's parents? Do we know yet?

I don't think we know yet. We just know that they're getting an episode and her mother will sing a song.
