I can see that The Incredible Hulk is being kind.

However, the text is too small to make out what he's saying.

A massive green muscley man is being a Friend to All Living Things and kind to children; Keep Until Better Image Suggested. You can also read the text if you look closely ("Bunnies get scared. All people be gentle." "Important. For being quiet. Big noises worry nice animals." "Animals sense how children feel. If children scared... animals scared." "Happy children make happy animals.").

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

Not really feeling the current. Is this too grainy?

I don't think the text is necessary. An image of a big, green, and mean looking guy holding a couple of bunnies is enough.

Wouldn't hurt to increase the text size a little.

You could probably trim it to either the first or third panel, and get a larger scan of it to compensate.

[up] That's what I was thinking too. First panel, third panel. I can make the speech bubbles a little bigger if necessary, but I think they are legible without having to strain your eyes too much. I personally like the first one better.

please don't capitalize my handle. I just don't like it.

The first of those is very good, and doesn't require speech bubbles being enlarged.

That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.

I like the first as well. But what's the difference between this and Gentle Giant?

Gentle Giant = large, intimidating person who is gentle and kind.

This trope = Normally aggressive and destructive person (regardless of size, despite what the trope description builds up) still cares and can be calmed down by something.

Or put in another way: One is gentle and can become enraged, abd the other is enraged and can become gentle.

Well, with that in mind, I think the Hulk image illustrates Gentle Giant more than this trope. He doesn't look that intimidating or aggressive, size aside. In that scene.

We've already got a great pic on Gentle Giant, so let's just nip that in the bud right now.

[up] What he said. The Iron Giant is perfect for that page, and shouldn't even attempt to be replaced.

I didn't mean to replace that one. I meant that it may mean it's not a suitable image to illustrate this trope, if we're to avoid confusion between the tropes.

The first panel is enough. The current's too busy for my tastes.

I think the picture of this should have two panels. The first one should show the typical destructive hulk and the other one would be any of the panels we have now. Then it would show both the brusier and the soft center.

I think his being large and muscular says "bruiser" very clearly.

Totally forgot about this one.

Still support replacing the whole image with only panel 1 or 3. Still not particularly choosy as to which.

Panel 1 > panel 3 for me.

The clock's up, and since the overall vote is for panel 1, it's up and tagged. I cut the caption and moved the Hulk pothole to the pic; add a new caption if you'd like one. Locking up.
