Good to see some British Tanks, though. They don't come in the media (even in Britain) much — as long as the Valiant isn't there, it should be (mostly) fine.
Keep Rolling OnYou guys are forgetting the mindbogglingly-large aircraft carrier all of this is set on!
Realy? I missed that. Anyway it weren't bad. I laughed a lot when I learned that piloting tanks makes you good wife. I wish be good wife too! Merkawa would be enough...

Well that was actually more interesting and funnier than I thought it would be. I do hope they don't use that turret-cam from the beginning of the episode much as it set off my motion sickness.
I'll wait for the Crunchyroll stream, but something about what you guys are saying sounds hilarious.
I must admit, I'm impressed. They took a premise that sounds weird, and made it even weirder in context. A definite keeper. Driving a tank is clearly a woman's job.
Maybe we'll have the Stupid Little Drill tank in there as a cameo.
Watch SymphogearMy first thought was, Upotte with tanks? So far, it's still about where my thoughts lie.
I liked the turret cam, all the Conspicuous CG, and the pink one. The final zoom was neat too. I do wonder about the logic if picking a lightly armoured one as bait, though. I'm not terribly versed in armoured vehicles, though. Is it faster?
Check out my fanfiction! The subs I watched were in Gratuitous German. I hope they just keep translating more and more words like that until the final episode looks and sounds like a Third Reich propaganda film.
I also chuckled at the monocle.
Well watched the first episode, it left me curious enough to continue.
... Trollsub does not make things better.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntIf the sub you're talking about is the one I'm thinking of, it most certainly does. It's not like this show is taking itself seriously from the start.
I don't think it's that much of troll subs from Commie. I'm not sure if it's their typesetter or encoder that's German though. They translated words that are commonly used by now anyway into German, like "pan".
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.I don't mind the sporadic German too much since I know a bit of German, but they really should stop doing it for everything except maybe Panzerfahren.
Also, does anyone know how long the series is?
Always assume 12 unless told otherwise.
In any case, the fansubs sound utterly stupid (I hate it when they do that...), so now I have even less problems with waiting for the Crunchyroll stream.

Stick-in-the-mud is what you are. This is just about the best thing Commie has ever done.
And what about this series isn't utterly stupid? Fun fansubs sure as hell don't take away from anything.

Was the German grammatically correct? I understand bits, but it felt out of place at times.

Check out my fanfiction! With the reveal at the end that everything is actually set on a MILE-HIGH SUPERCARRIER, I'm no wondering why no one's even bobbing up and down or swaying left and right slightly. Must have excellent inertial dampeners...
By the way, which one is the best fansub, over?
Keep Rolling OnI'd much rather fully understand what they're saying, thank you.
All right, I've watched it. It's one of those shows where you switch off your brain and have fun, right?
But there's Serious Business already?
* Sigh *

Keep Rolling OnAfter the End, is it? The city ship is really spectacular. Note the history of tank jousting is pretty long. there are a Wilie, an A 7 V Wagen and a TOG decorated with kanji shown.
If you see me I'm on an accidental Archive Binge.I was wondering that too: For it to have been going on "Generations"...all the tanks are reproductions, surely?

Keep Rolling OnHonestly, that infomercial thing MADE this show. I have no idea if I'll be able to hang on without narration like that!

There are girls, and there are tanks! What more can you ask for? LOL
From memory at least, so they may not be accurate, but the tanks that have appeared are Panzers III and IV, weirdly a Stu G III (an "assault gun vehicle", and eventually a tank destroyer, so I find it weird that it's there), plus the Type 95 from Japan, as well as an M3 Lee (Sherman's predecessor). Mathilda II and Churchill are also mentioned.
Makes you wonder when the most numerous (M4 Sherman), most effective (T-34), and most powerful (Tiger/King Tiger) will make an appearance.
I'm reading this because it's interesting. I think. Whiskey, Tango, Foxtrot, over.
