I don't think I can watch every episode thinking it's going to be the episode where Lance dies. The last twenty minutes of tonight's episode was awful, I thought everyone was going to kill him.

Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.

If they kill off a character it will probably be around episode 18 of this season or episode 19 because that is the Point of No Return in each season.

What the fuck Thea! Hell I get keeping it a secret in general, but from Felicity? It's not like she's going to tell Darhk. Also the demand is in no way reasonable, Clayton has no right to demand that Oliver lie to anyone about something that is a part of his life, William is as much Oliver's son and he is hers and her bullshit restriction is bullshit.

People are always encouraging Oliver to lie, even in situations where it's obviously making things worse. Thea isn't being as bad as Sara, but still...

I spent the entire episode clenching my teeth at the utter stupidity of Samantha's demand. Or the lack of savviness of Oliver in retrospect. He should have said "I will not keep that a secret from my sister and my wife, because that is just going to blow in my face eventually and I don't want that to happen".

Sometimes, Rule of Drama annoys me to no end.

Plus I am a complete Ollicity fan and seeing it on borrowed time because of that BS is irritating.

Edit: Damn, I dig the Ollie/Thea scenes usually but this one made me want to punch my scream. Yeah, Thank you Thea, with a capital F.

Edit 2: But at least Curtis is here to be the most epic employee ever.

I didn't know that the actress that plays Darhk's wife, Janet Kidder is the niece of Margot Kidder.

So that is two DC roles in that family.

Janet is playing Ruve Darhk while Margot played Lois Lane in the Donner Superman movies.

So I really want to watch tonight's Arrow for Vixen, but I don't want to sit through every terrible episode so far. Can someody give me the CliffsNotes version of what's been happening on the show so far?

Important plot points:

• There's another nebulous evil organization out to somehow save the city by destroying it. This year the lead guy's a wizard.
• Ollie is running for mayor. At first he was running unopposed since the wizard kept killing those foolish enough to run, but now he has a new opponent in the wizard's possibly even more evil wife.
• Ollie met his son from that old girlfriend that his mother bribed to leave the city. He wants to connect with him, but the mother will only let him do so if he promises never to tell anyone, ever. Said wizard recently kidnapped him.
• Felicty doesn't know about the son, is about to find out about the son, and got shot by the wizard. She's currently exactly like Oracle, right down to the archenemy paralyzed from the waist down. She also met a personal archenemy who unbeknownst to her also happens to be her father, who she had thrown in jail for unrelated reasons.
• Thea went violence crazy thanks to the Lazarus Pit. Sara was resurrected thanks to the same and went even more violence crazy. Hilarity ensues. Sara, but not Thea, gets cured by John Constantine. The wizard's powers are in some way the key to curing Thea.
• Nyssa blackmails our heroes into helping her take over the League of Assassins, and then realizes that the whole setup is terrible so she disbands them less than a day after. Malcolm found this news disarming.
• Ollie cut off Malcolm's hand.
• Malcolm went on the stand-up comic tour as the world's first one-handed assassin comedian. When that folded up, he went to go work with the wizard, leading to Ollie's son getting kidnapped.
• Diggle's supposedly dead brother is actually alive and works for the wizard. They've been slowly trying to un-brainwash him, if he even is brainwashed.
• Mr. Terrific, sans suit, is the new Ray of this season. He's basically Felicity's Felicity.

I thought Thea was cured by the Lotus potion? Or did that only cure what was killing her and not her bloodlust?

That's... a good question. I thought it only cured what was killing her, but since what was killing her was her bloodlust, it makes sense for that to be cured as well. But if it was, all the setting up they did of Darhk being able to cure her bloodlust seems pointless.

Ugh. The way they're handling this whole thing is really starting to bug me.

I though Thea being cured of her bloodlust was the whole point of using the Lotus.

I do like how Malcolm was all "Sara was cured of her bloodlust" but over on Legends of Tomorrow, she totally isn't, so we know that Malcolm is just making shit up as he goes along. Like, "Lotus potion? Pfft, that doesn't exist. Next thing you know, you'll tell me about some Amazonian purple healing ray."

I think that's more of a Plot Hole cause by Legends being filmed earlier than Malcolm lying.

Well, if the The Flash is on break until next month, this is probably going on vacation too.

X3 She's cured of the physical bloodlust, she doesn't need to kill, as shown by how her not killing hasn't caused her to die. The psychological bloodlust, that's still around.

Also Felicty does know that her dad was the hankered she battled and he knows he battled her.

Oh and Oliver is now savvy enough that when they were told Felicity would never walk again he said "that may be what medicine says, but we live in a crazy world where crazy things happen and I'm not giving up", at their engagement party Felicty was gifted a cure for her injury.
