The art itself looks fine to me, minus Ariel's unfortunate be-legged condition. But I'm not a fan of baby dolls in general; they all look kinda creepy to me.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI dunno. I think I just don't like how pronounced the lips were. The Disney store exclusive ones look much better in comparison, but they're less of baby dolls and more of young children.
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.Way are they counting Mulan but not Alice or Kira?
Atlantis The Lost Empire bombed. Mulan's movie was a a pretty good success and a lot of people are quicker to remember her than Kida. Plus Disney needed an Action Girl.
As for Alice, I usually see Alice In Wonderland being used as its own marketing label these days.

Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker. Not to mention Kira was... well, rather unglamorous for the image the Princess brand is trying to sell.
I had always assumed Kida was excluded because of her outfit.
Looking for some stories?I dunno, I think Kida's pretty glamorous. She may not wear the usual pimped-out dress all the time, but neither did Pochahontas or Mulan. It's probably more about her movie bombing, poor girl.
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaIt's funny, Atlantis was one of the Disney animated features I did see in theaters on its first run, so you can't blame me for that one!
Now Treasure Planet, I'm sorry, I was excited about that one for a while, but then I never did get around to seeing it.
Remember, Elinowy was intended to be included in the upcoming Princess line at the time of her movie's release.
So yeah, it has to do with Box Office numbers.
I'm having to learn to pay the priceI love me some Disney Princesses
not much to say [negative], as it has been repeated in every way possible on the internet.
I never found myself relating to the characters, I just like them as characters.
As do I. :) In a manner of speaking, I'll get to meet them this December. With any luck, I'll be going to Walt Disney World. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.well if Mulan cunt's so dos Alice.
Typo. TYPO!
Like I said, Alice isn't a part of the line mostly cause there's enough fans of anything related to Alice In Wonderland (Disney or not) for her to carry out a separate marketing brand. And Disney does need to draw a line into what characters should be in the line or not. If we add in Alice, we might as well also add Wendy, Megara, Esmeralda, and Jane to the line as well.
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.Jane probably couldn't make it anyway. Hasn't Disney's license with the Edgar Rice Burroughs state expired by now?
But shes from a Dict to DVD cheep quill
?
I'm confused at what you're going on about right now.
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.Jade from Return to never land.
I was talking about Jane from Tarzan.
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.ohhh that makes scene.
FWIW, I have seen Alice costumes in the Princess shop at Disneyland. But that probably has more to do with convenience than theming—there isn't a shop specifically for Alice merch, and the next most logical connection is with the other girls' costumes.
The one character I'm really surprised hasn't been added is Maid Marian. She's bona fide nobility, she wears a fancy dress, she's a love interest, and the movie seems to be at least as popular as Pocahontas. Is it because she's not human? I guess it might be weird to have all the Princesses except one as face characters.
On another note, just for fun...anyone know which was the first Disney Princess movie? It's not Snow White...
Don't want to attract the freaks.
Oh, and it's Goddess of Spring, right?
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatBut Belle is a furry also.
Nope. Silly Symphonies are not movies. I'll give you a hint: I potholed Disney Princess for a reason.
Um, no.
They mostly look okay to me. I really like that they had top-level animators design them.
