Jack's age is from second episode when one of dog archeologists analyzes he is from 25 B.A.(B.A. being Before Aku took over the world)
Benefits of watching whole series for first time is remembering the details
I commend everyone for not leaking any of these episodes before their premiere!!! :D
Can't remember the last time i saw someone about to commit Seppuku on a children's show. Oh, wait, yes I can. It was Dinobot in Beast Wars.
I mean, it's not really a kid's show anymore.
It's been 3000 years…Yeah. It didn't get upgraded to TV-14 for nothing.
> I mean, it's not really a kid's show anymore.
But yeah, the blood, violence and death means it's no longer appreciate for children to watch, although children will watch it anyway age ratings been damned

New theme music also a boxUntil last episode the upping of the material has been pretty muted, to the point that as funny as the "talking penis" line was I think most of the humor comes from the show it's in and how unexpected it was, not because it's that funny of a line on its own. A bit edgy and for shock value if it were.
Talking penis.

Also, if you've just come out of reading decades' worth of Berserk, that joke is trivial. "Man, I eat dickheads for breakfast"
Also, Preacher. Those who have read, know.

Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.I think that "talking penis" line comes from its unexpected delivery in a show that never indulges in vulgar humor, unlike other adult cartoons.
Well, I just recently read the synopsis' for the last three episodes of the season (I didn't count the next up and coming episode for this topic) and. i've got to say, what i have read has got me really worried for what's going to happen to Ashi. I can think of at least a few scenarios of what's going to happen next and, considering the way that this show tends to handle things sometimes, none of them seem impossible in the slightest (Ashi's entire character was probably already planned out to have such an ending). I'm pretty worried about things at this point, i just had to say that
You really didn't.
It's also how it's delivered. Scaramouch isn't just running around shouting penis penis penis, he's acknowledging that yes, he sees what we see. And he's speaking softly, because he doesn't want the guy to overhear him.
I do have to give Tom Kenny a lot of credit for delivering the line so well that it still has some inherent humor value to anyone who's not familiar with Samurai Jack.
I'm just gonna to be blunt about this one and say it; with the obvious exceptions of Aku and Ashi, how many characters within this show are actually given names that we can be certain really are their names, rather than just their titles or the nicknames that the fandom (or the production crew and/or writers) gave them?
For example; while it is true that Jack has decided to answer to the title "Samurai Jack", that is clearly not his real name, not the name that his parents actually bestowed upon him when he was first born (though, I wouldn't be surprised if, by this point, he's long since forgotten his true name). And I don't seem to recall an episode where The Scotsman was actually referred to as The Scotsman
Well, there's Demongo and Scaramouche. Pretty sure the rave girl had a name, too.
Olivia. I'm also like 80% certain the dogs from the second episode had names. Plus Flora and Lulu.
This song needs more love.I want Jack's real name to be revealed in the last episode, and it's Jugemu Jugemu Goko no Surikire Kaijarisuigyo no Suigyomatsu Unraimatsu Furaimatsu Ku Neru Tokoro ni Sumu Tokoro Yabura Koji no Bura Koji Paipo-paipo Paipo no Shuringan Shuringan no Gurindai Gurindai no Ponpokopi no Ponpokona no Chokyumei no Chosuke, and he's just been going by Jack all this time because it's much shorter and easier to say than Jugemu Jugemu Goko no Surikire Kaijarisuigyo no Suigyomatsu Unraimatsu Furaimatsu Ku Neru Tokoro ni Sumu Tokoro Yabura Koji no Bura Koji Paipo-paipo Paipo no Shuringan Shuringan no Gurindai Gurindai no Ponpokopi no Ponpokona no Chokyumei no Chosuke.
Meh. Too obvious a reference these days.
...what's the reference?
It should be something simple, like Ootori Nobu.
Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that.He might not have a family name since his father is, you know, the Emperor of Japan, and the real-life Japanese Imperial Family — as is typical of royal families — does not have an actual family name that its members bear as part of their full names.
That said, my headcanon given name for him is Takeyasu, written with the kanji 和安 (lit. "harmony & peace") with 和 being a homophone of 武 "warrior".

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus.I had to read it 3 times. Ja-puns are hard.
@LSBK: I'm pretty sure that those episode descriptions were officially announced, not leaked out of nowhere. Besides, they've been hidden under spoiler markings.
